Location is perfect at the top of the mountain, we arrived after a day of hiking and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff - especially Qinqin who kept in touch with us and sent us weather/cloud cover/sunrise details by message. We were so impressed and pleasantly surprised by the hotel facilities - really good food (and very reasonably priced), warm and clean room, smart toilet, mountain-view from the window, warm jackets provided for watching the sunrise (we were lucky to catch a clear sky for the sunrise!). They also prepared small items of complimenary local snacks and coffees throughout our stay. There was a small performance of the traditional opera style in the evening in the main hall which was lovely (especially for my UK partner to experience!). Would highly recommend and would stay again

We had a wonderful time at Yupinglou Hotel. It is a very beautiful hotel. We enjoyed everything about our stay there. The hotel rooms are really beautiful and also very clean. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and the service is excellent. We want to thank the staff very much for their great hospitality. NIce new hotel .. very posh .. name changed to cloud fun .. just few minutes away from xihai gorge. Staff Xiang Jian Fan was updating us the sunrise/sunset schedule and location to watch them. It is really amazing to have such nice hotel at the peak. Everything is carried up by hand .. including the bedsheet we slept on. I saw the guys carrying them up and down hill.

The boss and his wife were very nice. They picked us up and dropped us all the way up and down the mountain. The food they cooked was very delicious, including the chicken soup and the smelly mandarin fish. When we came back from the mountain, the children played in the hot spring for an hour. They were very happy. The mirror in the room was like a It would be nice to have one more person outside, so you don't have to be next to each other to wipe your face and wash your hands. Ever since our trip to Huangshan, my friends and I can't stop talking about how beautiful the Shanshui Boutique Hotel is! It is hard to explain how much we loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located near the Liyang old street and only a 10 minute walk to Tunxi old street, and we had a beautiful view of the river and bridge. The feel of the hotel interior is warm and is reminiscent of a lovely teahouse. The check in process was very easy and they were very accommodating to foreigners. The rooms were very spacious, clean and each room was unique due to the architecture of the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel staff left fresh fruit in the room for us. The breakfast buffet was also lovely. There were many options for food. You can choose from the buffet bar or you could also order some fresh noodles and eggs. Everything was very delicious. Many thanks to the hotel staff including Xia, who gave us wonderful recommendations on where to go and what to eat. I also need to say that the bathrobe in this hotel is the most luxurious bathrobe I have ever experienced. I had to buy one to take home with me at the end of my stay. I absolutely love this hotel, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will only stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the city.
