i had a really pleasant stay here, but what stood out the most was the staff — especially 宋书琳. i reached out to her very last minute when i realised i might not be able to catch my train (which meant i’d miss my flight too), and she went above and beyond to help. she patiently guided me through everything — from what time we should start heading down the mountain, to when the cable cars and buses start operating. she even went the extra mile to contact a driver she knew to make sure we had transport that early in the morning. all this was outside of her working hours, which made me even more grateful. thanks to her, everything went smoothly and i managed to catch my train and flight. the hotel itself is also conveniently located in the centre, with restaurants and shops nearby. overall, a great experience and i’m really thankful for the warm hospitality. 这次入住的体验非常愉快，但让我印象最深刻的是酒店的员工——特别是宋书琳。 在我快要出发的前一晚，才突然发现自己很可能赶不上火车（如果错过火车，就意味着也会错过已经订好的航班），当时真的非常着急。幸好联系到了宋书琳，她非常耐心又细心地帮助我，从什么时候该开始下山、缆车和巴士的运营时间，都一步步为我解答。她甚至还特地联系了一位熟悉的司机，担心我们一大早在山里打不到车。最让我感动的是，她做这些的时候其实已经下班了，却依然尽心尽力地帮助我。正是因为她的帮助，我才能顺利赶上火车和航班，真的非常感谢！ 酒店的位置也很方便，就在中心地段，附近有餐厅和商店。整体体验很好，很感谢这里的热情与周到。

We absolutely loved our experience at Xihai hotel. The level and quality of customer service was incredible, and the staff did everything to make us feel special. Thank you to Kora who communicated all the necessary information to us clearly including the forecast for sunrise the next morning (a 15 minute walk up towards Danxia peak). The hotel also provides complementary down jackets for cold weather. The rooms are lovely, and the food at the restaurant is buffet style but very nice and good variety. The hotel also has several daily activities - I highly recommend the face changer show in the evening! Thanks again to everyone who hosted us at the hotel!

This time I came to Huangshan to see the snow scenery and stayed at Guangmingding Villa. The experience was very good. Guangmingding is located at a high place. You can overlook the surrounding scenery of Huangshan from the hotel's observation deck. When the sun came out on the second day, I saw the sea of ​​clouds in Huangshan after the snow. It was really It was super shocking. I walked around the observation deck for more than an hour and still couldn't bear to come down. This trip to Huangshan was really worth it. I recommend the cloud room. You can see the scenery of Huangshan in the room. This experience is really great. At the same time, I would also like to thank the hotel housekeeper Huang Lijun for her very good service attitude and providing me with good suggestions for my subsequent Huangshan itinerary.

This hotel is perfectly situated right on Huangshan Mountain. The butler service was outstanding; they even accompanied us to watch the sunrise and sunset. They prepared detailed maps for us, explaining the best ways to explore and marking out routes, which was incredibly helpful and solved a lot of potential problems. The dining was standard, but considering all ingredients have to be hand-carried up the mountain by porters, you can't really ask for more – it's truly commendable! The hotel is also very close to famous scenic spots like 'Mystical Pen Peak' and 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea'.

This stay has completely reset my benchmark for domestic accommodation in China; it's currently my absolute top pick. I'm not sure whether to categorize it as a hotel or a guesthouse, but frankly, it doesn't really matter. It's located directly opposite Beihai Hotel, next to Mo Bi Sheng Hua, and right beside the police station. You'll find a discreet wooden door, easily missed, down a hidden path. Once you step inside, it's like entering a whole different world. The entire property is designed like a quaint little village, with all rooms thoughtfully nestled on the mountainside. All buildings are beautifully renovated historical structures. I booked the 'Yun Yi' room, which comes with a private courtyard featuring a small soaking tub. After a day of hiking, soaking in the tub to soothe tired muscles, with the stars and moon as your companions above, was simply wonderful. From the moment you book, you won't have to worry about how to get up the mountain or how to explore; your dedicated butler will arrange everything. They offer VIP access to the mountain: a driver will pick you up from your location at the foot of the mountain at the appointed time and take you directly to the cable car station, where you'll use the VIP lane to board without any wait. You won't have to concern yourself with the crowds at the South Gate or the queues for the cable car – none of that affects you. We visited on a Saturday during the summer holidays. The driver picked us up at 7:30 AM, and we genuinely arrived at Yunjia before 9 AM. You get the picture? While the room amenities and finishes might not rival the luxurious villas of Banyan Tree, Aman, or Six Senses, it's important to remember that the property is located within a scenic area, meaning construction and footprint are restricted. Moreover, every single item has to be carried up the mountain by porters from the foot of the mountain. However, the service here is absolutely exceptional – truly top-tier. It's not just one or two staff members who provide excellent service; it's the entire team. Their service is entirely proactive; guests barely need to voice a request as the staff anticipate your needs before you even think of them. This level of intuitive and attentive service is genuinely rare and incredibly difficult to achieve. Given that Yunjia's rooms are almost always fully booked during the summer, it's clear that the price isn't the issue when it's truly worth every penny. I will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan. Thank you, Yunjia, for an unparalleled and truly exceptional accommodation experience.

It is absolutely a wise choice to stay at this hotel despite the higher hotel price. The location is close to the Tian Du Feng and the cable car if everyone is interested in climbing one of the peaks. The checkout time is 12pm so you will have enough time to shower and rest after coming back from the Tian Du Feng in the morning. Also you will get to avoid the crowd in the morning which is a huge bonus!! The service provided by the staff hotel is exceptional. The breakfast and dinner options are really good too. The amenities at the hotel might look a bit older compared to other hotels in the mountain however the room itself is very clean and tidy. I would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

What We Liked Service staff were very warm and friendly, and there's a WeChat where they update on sunrise timings at the nearby Danxia Peak. The path to Danxia peak was well lit even at 4am, and the room comes with thick jackets and a torch light for you to bring along. The staff made all the difference in our stay as they genuinely wanted to ensure our stay was enjoyable. As it is the closest hotel to Danxia peak, it is very convenient to get to within 20mins for both sunrise and sunset. However if you are looking to catch the sea of clouds, it is much further away. What We Disliked The room layout is quite odd, and our ”window” faces the corridor and into the next unit. This meant that sound is very audible even with the window closed. But if the window is closed, there's no ventilation and makes the room uncomfortably warm. I guess it's not an issue on colder nights. If you manage your expectations that this is a hotel on the mountaintop, where heavy goods are hand carried by workers it is ok.

Our family trip spanned over half a month, with Huangshan being our final destination. We stayed three nights at Shuguangli and two nights at Shilin Yashu, and our experience was truly wonderful – definitely worth booking a month in advance! The ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional. The hotel also offered a rich variety of daily cultural activities, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. From picking us up in Chengkan, escorting us to the cable car up the mountain and then to the hotel, all the way to arranging the business van for our departure, every detail was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The manager was very approachable and elegant. The lovely lady in charge of tea culture patiently taught us tea ceremony and bead stringing, and the children absolutely adored her. We also appreciated the young man and other servers in the restaurant who had just graduated, the young man at the front desk who helped us with photography, and the kind auntie who helped us dry our clothes daily. Not to mention the young photographer from Shuguangli, the young lady who provided transfers and taught us incense seal carving, and the talented chef who prepared such delicious meals. We are truly grateful, as their exceptional service perfectly complemented the stunning scenery of Huangshan, leaving us with wonderful memories and a truly fantastic holiday. We even want to come back in winter!

The first time I have such a desire to evaluate, the hygiene is really bad! I won't complain about hardware decoration, but the focus is on hygiene!
