This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!

i had a really pleasant stay here, but what stood out the most was the staff — especially 宋书琳. i reached out to her very last minute when i realised i might not be able to catch my train (which meant i’d miss my flight too), and she went above and beyond to help. she patiently guided me through everything — from what time we should start heading down the mountain, to when the cable cars and buses start operating. she even went the extra mile to contact a driver she knew to make sure we had transport that early in the morning. all this was outside of her working hours, which made me even more grateful. thanks to her, everything went smoothly and i managed to catch my train and flight. the hotel itself is also conveniently located in the centre, with restaurants and shops nearby. overall, a great experience and i’m really thankful for the warm hospitality. 这次入住的体验非常愉快，但让我印象最深刻的是酒店的员工——特别是宋书琳。 在我快要出发的前一晚，才突然发现自己很可能赶不上火车（如果错过火车，就意味着也会错过已经订好的航班），当时真的非常着急。幸好联系到了宋书琳，她非常耐心又细心地帮助我，从什么时候该开始下山、缆车和巴士的运营时间，都一步步为我解答。她甚至还特地联系了一位熟悉的司机，担心我们一大早在山里打不到车。最让我感动的是，她做这些的时候其实已经下班了，却依然尽心尽力地帮助我。正是因为她的帮助，我才能顺利赶上火车和航班，真的非常感谢！ 酒店的位置也很方便，就在中心地段，附近有餐厅和商店。整体体验很好，很感谢这里的热情与周到。

This is near the north gate of Taishan Mountain. It was off-season when I came. On weekdays, there were no people. We drove in by ourselves. There were more paths. The whole environment was more original. It was suitable for tourists who didn’t like excessive commercial development. The whole was relatively clean. Although there were no shops open at that time, But I found a small restaurant that tastes very good! The proprietress has a very good service attitude and is very enthusiastic. She also picks you up for dinner and sends souvenir tea before leaving. Thank you very much.

A very cozy hotel with a warm, home-like atmosphere. The view from the window is just like a postcard — absolutely breathtaking. The location is great — only a 10-minute easy walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to the mountains. The hotel owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Upon arrival, he upgraded me to a more spacious and comfortable room at no extra charge. He also helped me plan the best route based on my available time and the weather conditions, and shared many interesting stories about the local history. The rooms are clean and well-equipped (hairdryer, air conditioning, toiletries). I had read in previous reviews about weak water pressure and unstable temperature, but everything worked perfectly for me. My room had a shower and a small bathtub. There’s also an option to order food to the hotel, but I chose to have dinner in different spots around town — there are plenty of cafes nearby, as well as pharmacies and supermarkets. At the end of my stay, the hotel owner arranged a transfer to the station for me, which cost five times less than a regular taxi ride. Even after I returned home, he reached out to check if I got back safely and if everything was alright. I’m very happy with the hotel and the quality of service. Thank you for the warm hospitality! Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our experience at Xihai hotel. The level and quality of customer service was incredible, and the staff did everything to make us feel special. Thank you to Kora who communicated all the necessary information to us clearly including the forecast for sunrise the next morning (a 15 minute walk up towards Danxia peak). The hotel also provides complementary down jackets for cold weather. The rooms are lovely, and the food at the restaurant is buffet style but very nice and good variety. The hotel also has several daily activities - I highly recommend the face changer show in the evening! Thanks again to everyone who hosted us at the hotel!

Yun Mo Shan is a perfect hotel and a fantastic stay! The room is spotless, very well-equipped, has a great view on the river and right under Huang Shan. There’s a shop right off the lobby for your mountain prep, as they even have sun hats. To top of the great amenities we have to mention the very helpful staff. We had to leave early for the mountain and they even saw to our food for that trip! Amazing and unexpected. This really is a magnificent hotel.

Directly above Emerald Valley, turn right after entering the B&B area and you will be there within 20 meters. You can park your car in the large parking lot of Emerald Valley and just go up the path. When you leave, you can register with the boss to get free parking fees, and charging cars can be driven there with confidence. There is a large charging parking lot, which is super convenient for recharging energy. The temperature at night is about 20 degrees, and it is very pleasant to walk by the stream. The boss's place for dining is fresh and delicious. It is a treasure hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Huangshan and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly cosy—equipped with everything I needed, from toiletries to bottled water. One of the highlights was the convenient and affordable transportation the hotel arranged to and from Huangshan North Railway Station. At just 35 RMB during the day and 40 RMB at night per person, it was significantly cheaper than ride-hailing options, which cost about 130 RMB at night. The service was amazing as the staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. During check-in, the receptionist patiently explained the best route to take on the mountain and even shared helpful recommendations. I also appreciated the little touches, like being able to borrow walking sticks for free, which saved me from having to buy one. The location is excellent too—just a 10-minute walk to the Huangshan South Gate Entrance bus station, with a view of Huangshan right from the hotel. There is also a massage place and supermarket just a minute away, and the hotel has a restaurant which serves truly delicious food. Overall, this hotel made my Huangshan trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

The room far exceeded my expectations. At this price, especially during a holiday, it offers incredibly good value for money. Before checking in, I asked the owner for Huangshan travel routes, and they were incredibly patient and enthusiastic in explaining them, even offering pick-up and drop-off services. Upon arrival, I noticed the lively and neatly kept flowers and plants by the entrance, which immediately showed me how much care the owner puts into the guesthouse. The room was spacious and very clean. The individual small bottles of shampoo and shower gel felt more like a hotel's offering than a guesthouse's, a truly thoughtful touch. The mountain views were also stunning. You could easily spend a whole day just relaxing in the room and enjoying the scenery. The natural environment is excellent; we even had the good fortune to spot a protected animal ✌️ (the large white bird in photo 5). Breakfast was homemade by the owner. I woke up quite early and, finding the owner not yet in the dining area, simply went to the kitchen and helped myself. The kitchen was spotless 👍. The homemade breakfast was delicious. Suggestion: The bathtub felt a little wobbly. Reinforcing it would make the stay absolutely perfect!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk to the mountain cable car station. With numerous restaurant options nearby, it's incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless. We booked a family room with a balcony, which featured a large outdoor terrace – perfect for children to play while adults could relax comfortably indoors. It was truly delightful and relaxing. The interior decor is beautiful, the facilities are new, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The proprietress was incredibly proactive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. She was always willing to help, providing excellent service and addressing all our inquiries. We would definitely make this our top choice again for our next visit to Huangshan.
