Huangshan Fengxuan Homestay (Huangshan Branch)

Because the hotel we booked before was fully booked, we were later coordinated to this hotel. The customer service lady who helped with the coordination was super nice. She helped us apply for a lot of benefits and sent someone to pick us up, which was great. I give a thumbs up to the customer service lady. However, the hotel environment was disappointing. First of all, the hot water had to be boiled before taking a shower, and the bedding was not clean. Friends reported that the water pressure for showering was also very poor, the toothbrush cup was cracked, and the switch had not been installed. There were too many safety hazards, and there was no USB port for charging.

The room was not cleaned upon check-in and the floor was sticky. There were a few long hairs on the bed sheet. The bathroom has no windows or exhaust, and the hot water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold. The wifi password was always wrong, so I used the mobile network for two days. The sliding glass door on the balcony is extremely difficult to open. The facilities are rudimentary and dilapidated. The magnificence of Huangshan Mountain does not mean that you can lower your standards for your homestay.

The location is extremely remote, several kilometers away from the transfer center. The lobby is a mess, with several B&Bs together. The soundproofing is very poor. You can clearly hear the noise in the corridor while sleeping on the bed, and you can also clearly hear the noise from next door. When I was taking a shower, the water was intermittent and I couldn't have a good shower at all. The air conditioner is very noisy and it affects my sleep. It was a really bad experience.

I booked a warm and cozy king-size room, but the pictures they advertised were too good, so I went there just for the pictures. However, the actual room was very different from the pictures, it was too average. I went there during the Qingming Festival. The room rate had gone up, which I could accept because I went there for the promotional pictures. I thought I needed better accommodation conditions. However, when I arrived, the accommodation was really average and the price increase was not worth it. The soundproofing in the room was not good either. I give a thumbs up to the driver for his good attitude.

Average stay

自駕去的，有地下車庫停車特別方便，價格實惠，有洗衣機有陽台有廚房，房間也挺大的。而且老闆人還很好，南大門接送一個電話師傅馬上就來了，因為第二天下大雨山上大霧什麼都看不到，還建議我們別上山可以提前退房，很少遇到這麼熱情好説話的老闆了，黃山肯定下次再來，祝老闆生意興隆。
