Shanyu Life and Huangshan Design

I had an incredible experience at this wonderful boutique hotel: the owners picked me up with their Tesla at the high-speed station Huangshan North. After arriving at the hotel, they showed me their beautiful tea hills in the hinterland and cooked a delicious dinner for me. Next morning they drove me to the south entrance gate after a healthy and yummy breakfast. In the evening we had a tea ceremony together. I learned so much about tea! At my last day the owner drove me around, we visited picturesque villages and he drove me back to the high speed railway station. Thank you again for this amazing experience! It was one of the the most special boutique hotel experiences I ever had! 谢谢

Very pleasant service including pick-up at the train station and transport to the Huangshan National Park shuttle bus centre. Stylishly furnished and clean room. Delicious, healthy and extensive breakfast included. Additional Provision Of Hiking Equipment (Raincoats, Hiking Stick). Staff very friendly - English a bit difficult but possible with translation app.

My partner and I spent three wonderful days here and we would come back in an instant. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at, and the staff is incredibly helpful. We had a huge terrace overlooking the fields, where we could just relax after some hectic days in Shanghai. The location is perfect, just outside the nearby town, but still close enough if you need anything. The hotels offers you a drop off to the main entrance of the Huangshan scenic area, which only takes about 10 minutes, so that you can be there early in the morning. When you visit the mountains, be sure not to miss out on the Western sea grand valley, it has less visitors and views are amazing. On our other day we visited nearby village Bishan, which was great, a cute little village with some artsy little cafes, eateries and shops. You can easily take a didi there. Every evening we had our meals at the hotel, which were delicious, and the breakfast was also outstanding, having both some local and western treats. We couldn’t be happier with our stay here.
