Hotel provides free shuttle service to huangshan. However, the hotel is a little far from shops and restaurants. Would be great if the breakfast can provide a few western options (bread / jam / yogurt) or similar

The hotel service is very good. They provide rides around the village, so it's very convenient. They also provided good information to go to other places, even though our Chinese is not good. We also asked to heat the room before we arrived late in the evening, and it was nice and toasty when we got there. Beds are comfy and there is good hot water.
The only downsides are the usual, a little noisy from the street and better dusting would be good. Breakfast is Chinese, we enjoyed it but might not be for everyone.

We had a really nice stay at Songyun Jian Hotel. The staff was very kind, the room was very clean and renovated, we would certainly come back.

As soon as you open the curtains, you can see the mountain view. The experience is really good. It is perfect for living alone. No matter whether it is sunny or rainy, it is a great photo-taking experience. However, it will be a bit awkward for two people to go to the toilet.
