The name is nice, but the room smells musty. It's normal to spend more than 500 yuan on holidays, so I didn't have excessive expectations. However, it's really too shabby. There are no disposable slippers in the room, and I had to ask for them several times before they were given to me.

The location is good, very close to the old street. There is a breakfast shop with delicious food across the street, which opens at 6:30 in the morning. Apart from that, there is nothing good about it. Hygiene: As soon as we entered the corridor of the guest rooms, we really wanted to vomit the New Year's Eve dinner. The sour smell filled the corridor and spread into the room. I don't know how to describe it, it's the smell of a sewer, as if the mop has never been washed, mixed with various foods and mold. Very unpleasant and nauseating. Facilities: Very old, the door lock could not be locked; the age of the windows really opened my eyes, I didn’t even know how to lock them (of course this might be because it was dark and I couldn’t see clearly). This room has almost no soundproofing. Any sound in the corridor, any talking at a normal volume, can be heard clearly in every room. I was woken up by the sound of washing next door in the morning. Service: This is really ridiculous. To check in at the hotel you need your ID card and face scan. OK, we will do it. But they used Alipay facial recognition. There was an elderly person in our group who didn't have Alipay activated but still insisted on facial recognition. After we explicitly rejected Alipay and asked them to use the public security system normally (like other hotels do for verification), they did it reluctantly, but! While doing it, he called his colleagues over and scolded us in front of us, saying that young people are too young to be willing to scan their faces or something. I excuse me? ! Is the waiter seriously ill? Is this my problem? I also said, is it appropriate for you to fiddle with us in front of us? The other person replied, "Of course we have to say it to each other's face. We won't talk behind their backs." I was really speechless. Up to this point, we had all endured it, but the funniest thing happened. We booked a room for two days, but due to room supply issues, our rooms were not the same for the two days and needed to be changed. Since the previous night's stay was not pleasant, we decided that night to climb Huangshan Mountain the next day to see if we could catch the evening high-speed train and leave directly, thus wasting the night; otherwise, we would stay another night and return by high-speed train the next day at noon as originally planned. So, early the next morning after checking in, we packed our luggage and got in the car, ready to act accordingly. At this time, the service staff came out and asked us if we would still stay tonight. We said, “It depends on the situation. We’ll go back as soon as we can.” Well, they got excited and kept asking us whether we were coming to stay or not, and that our money wouldn’t be refunded if we didn’t. I got angry, so I told my friends not to answer and to get in the car. I still feel unhappy. I paid, so you should keep the room for me. You keep asking me so persistently, just because you want to "sell" the room second time. Don't we know the room cancellation policy? ridiculous! I thought the matter was over here, haha! I won’t answer the calls that come in a series at night. This kind of business is too greedy. I advise everyone to choose carefully! At the end of this trip, it was also my fault. I just wanted to climb Mount Huangshan, so I stayed overnight for a while. I took advantage of the cheap price and convenient travel, but ended up making myself unhappy during the New Year. I didn't want to write a bad review and cause trouble for myself, but after thinking about it, I still can't accept this business model. I don't want anyone to have the same experience as we did, so please think carefully before booking.
