This time, I drove all the way from Beijing to Chengkan with my wife and mother to experience the art of Hui-style architecture in Anhui. Check-in was very convenient; the owner picked us up in his electric scooter to go to the guesthouse. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, explaining the attractions and local customs. We stayed in a duplex suite, perfect for families with parents or children. The room was clean, tidy, and had a charming, antique feel. After touring Yongxing Lake and watching the fish lantern performance, we returned to the guesthouse. I highly recommend the owner's private kitchen; his wife's cooking is especially delicious, particularly the stir-fried bamboo shoots with pork and the shredded potatoes! I look forward to seeing them again and wish the owners great success in their business!
