I have been to Hualien many times, and almost always use the hotel reservation website to book rooms. This is the first time I have used this hotel reservation website to find accommodation, and it is also the first time I have stayed here. It is convenient to the city, and the price is reasonable and practical!

All the items in the room were very old and the towels had too many signs of age. There was a deep cigarette smell permeating the room, so it was difficult to get used to it. The owner is friendly, but I think it will become a good hotel if the interior is renovated.

Overall it's pretty good, and there's a parking space, but the downside is that the pillows are a bit hard and it's not easy to sleep on. People still smoke secretly at the bathroom vents, and some smoke smell comes out, because I'm a little sensitive to the smell of smoke, but it's okay. The room smelled like smoke only in the bathroom but it was okay.

It's an old house. Some power sources are turned off at night. Be careful that your mobile phone is not fully charged. But the service is very good. You can store your things first and then check-in, which is great.
