Hotels near Elephant Village, Hua Hin in Hua Hin

The Lapa has a quite unique location, right next to the new BluPort mall. Free parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are amazing, murals on the walls, brightly coloured tiles in the very modern bathroom. Showers tall with lots of space. Very comfortable beds, fridge and safe deposit box in the room. A kettle with coffee and tea provided. It's a really cozy room, with a sitting area at the window. Very clean and freshly painted. Breakfast was good, nice extra is freshly blended fruit juice, which you can chose at a little stall. This is a pet friendly hotel, so we met people travelling with their cats and a couple who brought 2 Yorkshire terriers. Unfortunately they yapped for while whilst the owners went for dinner, but all quiet at night 😊 A really nice place to stay, if you have a car it's not far from the beach or the Cicada Market.

I’m only giving this hotel 3 stars. Which might seem harsh. The staff are friendly and helpful apart from the barman on the rooftop. The rooms are clean and tidy and modern, the room I stayed in was low down and had a dingy feel to it, no view of anything other than the other the hotel facing me, with no balcony it gives you a claustrophobic feel and I was pretty keen not to spend to much time in the room, considering the hotel was empty it might have been a smart thing to do, give me a better room! There’s no way I’d stay there again after that. The location isn’t that close to the main attractions, this is why It’s not as expensive as some of the other resorts. It’s not miles away but on the edge of town, 15 min ride in a car, as opposed to walking distance that the other resorts offer and let’s face transportation isn’t expensive, so this may not be a problem for some people. Now the complimentary drink they offer a glass of pineapple juice from the carton poured in a shot glass. I have to mention this because it’s such a joke, why even offer a free drink if this is what it is? You’d have to be Incredibly dumb to think this is a great idea to give your guests. It’s a insult to people staying at the hotel, don’t offer it to them it’s a embarrassment to the hotel and reflection of intelligence’s of who’s running the place. To Summarise it’s not the worst Hotel you’ll ever stay by no means but just silly little things they could improve which would make a world of difference. I will not be back again.

Location - It is easy to get to. About 80-100 baht by Grab from central Huahin. You will need a ride to all attractions around Huahin (80 baht + by Grab) including the beach. Memory Value - Great for all ages. Lot of stuff for my little kids. My kids enjoyed the play grounds and the wave pool. They could have played those the whole day. The kids club is also well stocked for cold or rainy days. Monetary value - If you are just paying for the day pass, it is a little expensive for a family. Look for a deal at the Holiday Inn. The price for one night's stay is sometime equal or lower than a day pass for a family at the park. You get two free passes for all guests one night's stay. That is a great value. Kids breakfast buffet and stay free.

My wife and I are retired full time travelers. This is a quiet, boutique resort that used to be a six senses. It’s about 30 ish min south of Hua Hin. Although ocean side, not a beach resort, there is a sea wall and road Oceanside. That said, it’s quaint, the villas are nicely appointed, the villa pool, in our case a 2 br villa suite, was quite large, clean, extremely private. It was an extremely great place to decompress from Bangkok and large time change. Highly suggest going to praya Nakhon cave, truly spectacular. Big call out to a local restaurant, that is off the path, but a quick tuk tuk away, aptly called “very good” restaurant. They are being humble, it’s great, and extremely reasonable. Go. They will come fetch you there and back just to eat there. 5 min away. Resort was less than half capacity, main pool was empty yet didn’t go due to quality and size of villa pool. Great treatment as titanium. Not all that much to do locally, but a worthy few day stay. In our case 5 days and we were quite happy with it. Thank you to all staff, amazing hospitality and graciousness. Gym, small but adequate, didn’t ever see anyone in there but us. Breakfast buffet was always very fresh, good in size, not huge but again, small resort and half capacity. We were very satisfied overall.

This is the best front beach hotel for family and chilling out even hotel was so busy but still very nice to stay here. Bar beach very nice. Only one staff at bar but she is very nice. FB servers are so lovely and nice to help and suggest. Specially K.Pon (sorry i forget his name) Front desk were attractive to help us specifically K.It (bell boy) he is very active. K.Puy (GSA) is good to help us also. Breakfast was okay, food is good. but I would love to recommend to egg station. FB should have a order papers egg because we have to stand there and wait. Room was smell not good but it okay. Water smelly from start but after a while it better. HK were nice. Overall here is very nice. We will come back here again.

Trip.com was a lot cheaper (even than Agoda, so I strongly recommend checking at least three websites) and the hotel doesn’t offer price matching. One of the roads to the hotel has a lot of potholes so drive carefully. It’s about 20 minutes from the center, so hope you don’t mind. The member program seems pointless, so I didn’t bother joining & do you have to wait till next time to get benefits:( had to wait 15 minutes for our room to be ready, but didn’t see a lot of guests. Very nice hotel for a relaxing stay. Rooms were nice and clean, also the pool area. There is a shuttle to the night market, the beach or the malls every day, it leaves five or six times a day during the week, starting at 9am with the first. The last one left at 7pm. On weekends, there is a different schedule but also several times. The breakfast buffet was good with different international and Asian food options. Would totally recommend this hotel for a holiday!

Amari Hua Hin is too good to stay there, really nice. The swimming pool is super big and cool, jacuzzi nice and lots of trees. Pretty close to the sea.

Unfortunately outside the hotel and also the paths to the room door and around the hotel was not very clean, lot’s of plastic, beer bottles, food leftovers in the woods surrounding the hotel. Just a messy view. The very nice swimming pool was not that clean either. Rooms were fine and comfortable, breakfast was good and staff friendly. Location is great if you love the beach, pool and golf.

Good decision making to select this hotel that Trip.com proposed. Paid only 6xx.xx, but got like 5-star accommondation with good scenery
