Beautiful hotel with charme
Very good looking location, well maintained and a lot of Charme.
Check in was a little complicated since you need to do everything online to even open the doors. Their is no reception in the building, so if you are struggling with that, you will have to go to a different hotel with a reception (3mins by car).
But we managed to make it work and it was very comfortable.
Breakfast was okay, good quality products but no fresh eggs or coffee on demand. Nespresso works just fine though.
Rooms were a little noisy since there was a family with kids above us which started playing around and moving all the furniture at 11pm. But since dinner is very late, it was not a problem for us.

It seems that the owners are trying to cut costs in creative ways. There are no staff on site. There is no key. You check in online ahead of time and get an email with a link. The link has instructions for entering your room -- a numerical code and instructions for entering it at the door. Except the instructions don't work! Nice surprise when you arrive at night and can't enter the room. There is also a button online for opening the door. Except the button sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Sometimes it will say that the door you are trying to open is not connected to the Internet. So you're stuck outside. And if you don't have a reliable Internet connection on your phone, forget about it -- out in the rain it is for you. A word of advice for the owners: keys. It's a brilliant invention. Has been working just fine for centuries. And if you're running a hotel, you should have someone on site.

Everything has been a dream, the Palace is spectacular. Everything is newly renovated, the rooms are very spacious and very well decorated, in perfect harmony with the space. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast staff, very pleasant and professional. When I return to Cantabria, without hesitation, I will stay at the Palacio de los Acevedo.

Family meal, two starters and one plate each. The starters, some really good croquettes, good and abundant chistorra, the main course was baked rice, which was easy to eat, but could be improved, a boneless rib and some cannelloni. absolutely inedible seafood. The restaurant was spectacular in the house, but on the table instead of a tablecloth there were some kind of napkins, the waitress who served us with a too commercial style. We had to ask for the bill four times. The terrace was very pleasant, but surprisingly they don't serve meals
