If you are looking to stay in the Nottingham Road area in the Midlands, The FarSide Manor B & B is a must, I had the most amazing weekend staying in the Dam Cottage, my expectations were fairly high after perusing their webpage, but it was more than I had expected. The area and views were something special and the tranquillity was second to none. The cottage which is more like a small house was full furnished with everything down to extra quality blankets, a huge fireplace and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. I could sit and write pages on why you should stay at this beautiful and outstanding setting but have one comment to make: If you want an incredible place to stay, this is it!

Great stay with family. It was a lovely home from home atmosphere. The “World Class Breakfast “ was a big disappointment as it was very mediocre. There were no health breads, pastries etc. The rooms were beautiful and it was clean. The family enjoyed time around the fire, playing pool and darts….. and watching some World Cup Rugby.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was stunning. Stayed in the Dam cottage thats was very well equipped. Beautiful views from the veranda and peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back

It was a real treat to stay at the Far Side Farm. The charm and warmth of this Manor House is felt as you drive down the tree-lined driveway and walk into the lamp-lit entrance and lounge, with crackling fire. The room I stayed in was beautiful and particularly well appointed with attention to all details. Ryan is an exemplary Host and attentive to the needs of his Guests. Breakfast is delicious and lovingly presented by the fabulous Chef. The ambiance of this Lodge is just what one yearns for in a Country Escape - deep couches, beautiful coffee table books, art works depicting country vistas and in the surrounds of spectacular farm land. I highly recommend this special spot. Leanne
