We stayed at Hallieell country In for 2 nights preceeding the Comrades marathon. This is a really wonderful establishment. Lynn went out of her way to accommodate us and communication was really good. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Being winter, we appreciated the fireplace. Having an on-site restaurant is a bonus too. We left at 4am for the marathon and Lynn even packed a breakfast pack for my hubby as he was supporting my son and I. I highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel has an amazing special, that is totally worth it! Rooms are so comfortable, with beautiful views from a private verandah, and a fireplace in the room for the chilly nights. The hotel has a lot of character and charm, I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you, it was wonderful.

We went there for our honeymoon and it was nothing short of excellent. From the food to the staff, there was nothing to complain about. Will definitely be going back soon.

Service and greetings by all staff was phenomenal. Always greeting with a smile and wanting ensure we had everything we needed. The in-house food was very good. Quality and portions were excellent. The only issue was the damp fire wood for the fireplace in the room. We smoked the place out and decided not to make a fire. That was the only disappointment. Wood definitely stay there again.
