Lunch here today was absolutely fantastic. From the initial friendly welcome and atmosphere to the lovely food we were served, 5*. You must try the chips for definite!!!! Something on the menu for everyone and not only did it look tasty, it didn't disappoint the taste buds.

I had the curry and it was fab. The staff are fab and the venue is fab and clean. a lovely place to come for lunch. such a wonderful pun. As I live in Howden and don't drive it is handy for me to get to. I love the quiz on a Tuesday as well with my friends.

Enjoyed our visit. Really lovely pint - I had the traditional bitter, snaith brewery. The food was also very good, perfectly cooked scampi and chips and garden peas. Service was prompt and very friendly. I would recommend trying this place.

Great presentation and even had the chef come out and ask how it was and could she do anything different or add more. There are more versions of the breakfast I know however 2 of everything was more than enough. Staff are always friendly in the welly I will be back for another asap

Absolutely disgraceful, staff very rude, one of the staff member had staken the shoes off and just sat in the hallway on the floor, they closed the main doors at 8.30pm on nye ‘manger’ on his phone! Beer tasted like the lines have not been cleaned for months!!

Amazing food absolutely brilliant we called in for Sunday dinner Amazing food highly recommended nice bar staff very friendly landlord even took time to show us a room which looked lovely as well pub needs a refurbishment but is clean and presented well but the food was another level

From the start the staff of the Wellington were very helpful with our booking. all staff friendly and helpful..the Wellington is what it is [ olde pub/inn] so keep that in mind...room was very clean with a separate shower /wc....drinks were normal pub price..Full English breakfast hot and very good....large car park through the front cut to rear at beer garden..Over all very very happy with our stay at the Wellington

We were very satisfied. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Free parking and the pub had a nice bitter on draught. Situated near the shops and the Minster which is worthy of a visit. When we are in the area we will certainly book this hotel again
