Great service at desk and unit was good. However returning from our function was not lekka , couldn't get the security guy at front door . Had to park in road and wait till we got access . That spoilt it for us , no one told us about the arrangement and we were only out till 11ish I am also still wqaiting on my invoice

The hotel is in a beautiful area, Hout Bay. The personnel, food and rooms are very good, definitely worth recommending.

As always a fabulous hotel with amazing views, service and food! The pool area is great and so quiet and again has fabulous views and a lovely place to just chill.

Had a wonderful weekend at the Chapmans Peak Hotel. Perfectly positioned for a holiday in Cape Town. Have stayed here on several occasions. Never disappointed. Stunning views from the 2 floor room balcony of the sweeping sandy beach and mountains. The staff are all charming and very helpful. I’m looking to coming again.

The room was lovely with very pleasant views of Hout Bay beach. All the staff without exception we friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent served on the terrace.

If you want to stay next to the beach in Hout Bay, this is your perfect spot. The restaurant is also quite good. However, the hotel is somewhat outdated. The restaurant furniture is appaling. The breakfast is minimalistic in view of the room price. We found the pool to be icy, not heated, and therefore unuseable, unless you are used to very cold water.

I managed to escape the cold of London for the warmth of The Chapmans Peak hotel for 8 long days. I had friends in Hout Bay but decided I wanted a bit of my own space and this was perfect for me. Ideally located at the end of the bay with stunning views, I’d wake up to glorious beach which was fully visible from my room (205) that was spacious and well appointed. I had breakfast every morning which was excellent, the hot food cooked to order a la carte which I much prefer to a tepid buffet offering. The front of house staff all lovely and welcoming. I’ve heard the restaurant is excellent for lunch/dinner and was always popular though I tended to eat in other parts of The Cape. I used to work in 5 star hotels so have high standards and I can honestly say Chapmans Peak exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Felt peaceful and safe. Balcony overlooking the mountain was tranquil. Lovely to sit out there and enjoy a sundowner or early morning cup of coffee before going to the restaurants for breakfast.
