Had a wonderful weekend at the Chapmans Peak Hotel. Perfectly positioned for a holiday in Cape Town. Have stayed here on several occasions. Never disappointed. Stunning views from the 2 floor room balcony of the sweeping sandy beach and mountains. The staff are all charming and very helpful. I’m looking to coming again.

The room was lovely with very pleasant views of Hout Bay beach. All the staff without exception we friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent served on the terrace.

If you want to stay next to the beach in Hout Bay, this is your perfect spot. The restaurant is also quite good. However, the hotel is somewhat outdated. The restaurant furniture is appaling. The breakfast is minimalistic in view of the room price. We found the pool to be icy, not heated, and therefore unuseable, unless you are used to very cold water.

I managed to escape the cold of London for the warmth of The Chapmans Peak hotel for 8 long days. I had friends in Hout Bay but decided I wanted a bit of my own space and this was perfect for me. Ideally located at the end of the bay with stunning views, I’d wake up to glorious beach which was fully visible from my room (205) that was spacious and well appointed. I had breakfast every morning which was excellent, the hot food cooked to order a la carte which I much prefer to a tepid buffet offering. The front of house staff all lovely and welcoming. I’ve heard the restaurant is excellent for lunch/dinner and was always popular though I tended to eat in other parts of The Cape. I used to work in 5 star hotels so have high standards and I can honestly say Chapmans Peak exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Felt peaceful and safe. Balcony overlooking the mountain was tranquil. Lovely to sit out there and enjoy a sundowner or early morning cup of coffee before going to the restaurants for breakfast.

At the recommendaiton of a friend, we stayed outside Capt Town proper at Chapman's Peak hotel and were very please to have done so. The location is fantastic and I was encouraged to have an early did with the locals at 7.00 am. After Sydney (Aust) water temperatures, it was a bit of a shock but made the experience all that much more special. The view from the pool is fantastic, could have spent many hours looking over the edge down to the beach. Why stay in Cape Town when Hout Bay is calling. Restaurant food and bar drinks were excellent.

Don’t be fooled by the outside of the building….the inside is amazing! The rooms better than most big name hotel groups! Spacious, well appointed, clean and super comfortable!!! Well done!!!
