This was our second time to stay at the St. Regis. We had a wonderful time on our first trip, which is why we decided to go back. However, this time we woke up to four bed bugs crawling on top of us (room 1221). Upon killing the bed bugs, blood stains were left on the sheets. Prior to leaving the room, we were able to take a video of another bed bug still alive and crawling on the sheets. We immediately informed the front desk, who assured us they would have a third party investigate the situation, and I would be contacted within three days. Nearly a week later, I still had not heard from the St. Regis, so I called to check on the status. I was informed the third party investigation came back negative and there were no signs of bed bugs on the sheets or in the room (despite leaving behind four dead bed bugs and one live one when we left the room, as well as photo and video proof). I asked for a copy of the report but was told they would not accommodate my request. While I am disappointed with my experience, I am even more disappointed with the St. Regis and their response to the situation.

This is my go to for stays in Houston. Exceptionally quiet, lovely and comfortable, and well appointed. Great check in experience with a new agent named George. He was awesome and I am sure he will be a great fit! William in valet was friendly and courteous. I appreciate the umbrella he gave me. Thanks to Liliana at desk. She thanked me for continuing to stay here and asked me to come back next time when in Houston. All around phenomenal experience, as always.

Great choice in Houston. Very attentive staff. Super clean, great service. Perfect location in a very nice part of town . Great valet, easy check in and rooms very nice. Don’t miss Harry “bartender” at the bar… what a gem! He made the whole trip!

Pool is not true to the pictures, it is small, old and dirty. No inviting chairs around the pool, old and dirty flooring. Old carpet throughout the hotel. Noisy air conditioning. Very limited room service menu. The entire hotel needs an update.

We were only here for one night but this property is 5 stars from start to finish. Our request for an ADA room was honored without incident. The room is large with two double beds. A hoyer lift could fit under the bed if needed. The bathroom was spacious with grab bars and the make up mirror was in a perfect position for someone in a wheelchair (or 5 feet tall!). The floor in the bathroom has 4x4 tiles in the wet area creating more friction to prevent falls versus the large 12x12 marble tiles you see now which are a slip fest for even the most able bodied individuals. Room service was prompt and hot with a lovely employee. The valet were kind and helpful. This will be our hotel of choice moving forward when we visit Houston. Thank you St Regis! PS we had the best nights sleep as it was quiet and peaceful in this neighborhood!

They didn’t advise me on a $350 incidental and I booked for 2 nights. the check in guy was very rude with the unnecessary rudeness about me now putting enough funds due to me not “being able to read website” when I spoke to a person for my booking. while I was trying to check in I was very embarrassed And was not taken care of with sympathy or care. Will never return

**I did not stay here. I live in Houston but came here for the spa and restaurant only.** Hotel: It's not what I would expect for a five star hotel. It's near the Galleria but that's it. The surrounding area are old buildings. Spa: I live in Houston and chose the Spa at St. Regis because there is nowhere to get a good massage in Houston! I chose the Shoulder & Scalp Rejuvenation massage and it was great! They have a sauna, which is great, but given the cost of everything at the spa, there should be a steam room, too. I was told my bottled water would be waiting after my massage and it was not. I was so thirsty I ended up going to their restaurant and drinking two large glasses of water. When I was checking out, I was kind of hurried out of there. Restaurant: There is only ONE restaurant in the hotel, The Remington. Eggs benedict was average. I got a cappuccino and it tasted below average; it was $8. The servers were nice.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and would come back. Good service and friendly staff. One thing I do wish they had is Outpost dual monitor kits. I’ve used this service at other hotels in Houston and it makes a big difference for me when I need to get work done at the hotel.

My husband and I celebrated a big anniversary with a spontaneous trip to Houston and a stay at the St. Regis from Saturday to Sunday. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the standards we expected from a $600-per-night hotel. While there were some positive moments, like a friendly check-in and attentive staff member Irma and Cesar and great bartenders, the overall service lacked the seamless from the minute you pull up to the minute you leave experience we expect from an SRH.
