Reviews were right, the rooms are VASTLY different from what the lobby appears like. We were on the second floor, which, for our entire stay, reeked of wet odors. The ice machine did not work. The TV was incredibly outdated, it made everything seem like a 2000s broadcast. And it’s not very good location wise, other hotels are within walking distance of the NRG center. This one advertises its closeness, but you still have to drive and pay parking or take a taxi because it’s inconvenient location. The rooms need a major overhaul, everything is old, crusty, and ready to be thrown out. It’s also a gamble whether or not the old shower will have hot water.
