Loved the stay. I love that I was able to get the service I needed. A/C wasn’t working and I was able to get it fixed in no time and enjoy the rest of my stay.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a work trip. The location is great and not too far from downtown. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Start with the positives - rooms are fine, not the most recent updates but it's OK and clean. Breakfast service was good and attentive. Food was typical HGI which is fine for me and always better than Hampton or Homewood. Negatives - fitness room had at least 3 machines out of order. Hot water for an evening shower was not available. It was lukewarm at best. Coffee service in room was sub-par. Maxwell House? I think I remember my grandparents drinking that. Cheap little cups to burn your hand with and no insulating sleeve. Seems cost cutting is the game here. It's not horrible but it's just OK and not best representation of the HGI brand. Hope management gives it some thought.

Rehaan - The front desk is super important.  Unfortunately, Rehaan is completely incompetent.  He kept saying that he didn’t know the answer and that he would ask someone else, but never did.  He was the WORST.  Parking Lot -  Watch out!  A car (corvette) was stolen while I was there.  Breakfast - Do not buy the breakfast voucher!  It’s a trick.  Just buy the breakfast there. This is a bait and switch tactic!  Food - Basic and good.  Waite staff is decent.  Bar - Food was basic and tasty.  Bartender was good.  Cleanliness - Average +  A/C in the room -  VERY DIFFICULT TO ADJUST!  Some rooms too cold… others too hot!  TV - Had problems in some rooms.    Worst thing about the hotel?   Rehaan
