Hostel in a apartment with excellent facilities, but may be a little bit far away from public transports. Quiet neighborhood, and the bed was big and comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a youth hostel that truly stood out for its exceptional qualities. Nestled in a residential area, its location was incredibly convenient, offering a tranquil retreat just a bike ride away from the city center—less than 10 minutes to be exact. This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment. The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly. What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care. The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers. In summary, this hostel was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a home, or perhaps more accurately, a homestay. It's undoubtedly the best hostel I've ever stayed in globally, blending the comfort of a home with the adventurous spirit of a hostel.

I had such a wonderful time staying here, so much so that it made me wish that I had stayed longer. The hosts were so kind and helpful, the rooms were comfy and clean (as were the bathrooms), and it has an amazing atmosphere overall. The other guests were so respectful and good-natured, and I had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world. Not to mention that the location was great for both exploring downtown and taking runs along Buffalo Bayou, with many of close options for food. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Houston!

After 17 or more years of traveling this is my favourite family hosted hostel! Breakfast feels like back home with family. Rooms, kitchen and living area are very clean and cosy. Herald and cathy are super helpfull and lovely. Thanks for everything! Salamat sa lahat!

From another Airport (HOU) that far 15 km S.E. ride Bus #73 +Bus #11-54. “Randalls” big Supermarket & CVS walk about 1.5 km N.W. Space Center (NASA) 45 km S.E. there is no Bus. “Sylvan” Beach or Port are about 40 km E.S. ride 3 different Buses, I can’t do, #9-11-82-137 +Bus #40 +Bus #7. Room in 3 Floors, Nice neat clean Shared Area contain complete Kitchen (Refrigerator +Oven +Microwave +Kettle +Toaster +Kitchenware) Plus Sitting Area with library +big size TV +Games +Balcony +Toilet. - STAFF: is originally from Philippines +Help +Map +collect the all Amount before a few days from check in +not 24hr. from 09-18:00 approx. … Its big Disadvantage is the big time difference 4 hr. between Check In & Out from 11-15:00 and there is no Early Check In before 15:00 even there is the availability except after paying 15$ and the same amount paid if you check out after 11:00.
