I am very disappointed in the customer service shown to my husband tonight. My husband booked a room and called to make sure my cousin could get in, as she would be arriving at the hotel tonight. He asked to speak to the manager, and I was appalled to listen to the extremely disappointing conversation he had with Jerry. My husband was very kind, explained that he booked the hotel with points and that my cousin was listed on the reservation. Jerry was extremely unprofessional in the way he spoke to my husband and ended up telling him he wouldn’t budge on this unwritten policy that my husband had to be there first (online it says you just have to add the other persons name to the reservation). My husband said he’d call member relations to get it resolved and Jerry very aggressively told him that he has his caller ID, has video of this call and would call customer care himself to let them know that my husband called him and he would be not be refunding the room. He aggressively stated several times that he would be keeping his points. When my husband said he was a platinum elite member and was hoping he could vouch for his identity, Jerry exclaimed that he was an even higher status member as to say that my husband’s status meant nothing. Frankly, it was embarrassing. We hope Jerry was just having a bad day and this isn’t his normal behavior as a manager in this customer-facing industry. My husband immediately called customer relations and found out that Jerry had already cancelled his reservation without letting us know. Thanks to Gemma over at customer relations, it was all sorted out and faith was restored in the Holiday Inn team. We will continue to pray for Jerry’s staff over at the Spring location.

We had a great stay at this Holiday Inn Express. I want to point out Crystal at the front desk. We arrived at 7:15 AM with our car in the shop and no where else to go until our official check in time of 4 pm. Crystal welcomed us with open arms, offering us access to the breakfast bar, and the lounge area where we were able to work for the day. She did her best to get us in our room as soon as possible, as well as checked in with us to see if there was anything she could helps us with while we waited. I will also note that the hotel was super clean, including our room and the public areas. The hotel is on the newer side and everything is pristine. There are multiple usb ports around the room, large smart tv and motorized blinds. The bathroom is huge and stocked with the products you would expect to find in the hotel. The breakfast was tasty and offered a wide variety of items to satisfy all diets. The location is easy to access from the freeway and close to great restaurants.

The rooms are clean, breakfast is nice but the pancake machine was broken, there is a small pool in which some kids were enjoying. The staff is outstanding and very helpful and polite. I am here due to Hurricane Ida but unfortunately, I can not stay because I am spending too much money on fast food. The area has a lot of restaurants to choose from and they are all delicious, I may try the Japanese restaurant today. There is a PetSmart, big lots, and Marshalls in the parking lot. The area is safe!! Bad: Very low water pressure but the hot water did work. I opted for a bath vs a shower. (this should really be updated) I gave a 3 star for value because, for this reason, the rooms are average cost $129, so there is no reason to cut back on the water pressure.

We stayed here on the last night of our tour of Texas. The hotel was spacious and the room was more than large enough. Special mentions must go to Chris who greeted us with a humour and warmth that was tremendously entertaining. If there are any casting directors out there looking for their next sitcom star then you could do worse than seek this guy out! Special thanks as well to the lovely Jerome who picked us up from the airport and took us back again the next day.

Check-in was a breeze, and they even updated my address in my Priority Rewards account. Staff throughout my stay were very friendly and helpful! I had the King Suite with a sofa bed. Spacious, clean, lots of light. Modern amenities. They were having an issue with the computer in the lobby that can be used by those staying in the hotel. One of the management staff let me borrow her laptop as I had a couple of files that absolutely needed to get sent that day and I didn't have my laptop with me but had a USB stick. Also, the breakfast was the BEST breakfast that I have seen at a hotel that offered free breakfast. Ready made omelettes with veggies, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, pastries, hot coffee, and the warm cinnamon roll were the BEST! Check out was easy and quick. For rooms that face the freeway there may be a bit of noise at times but with the fan or AC running, it was minimal. I slept fine.

Interior of the Hotel was very clean, room was larger than expected and bed very comfortable. However, when I went to hang up my shirts/pants, there were dirty linens in the closet left by housekeeping from previous guest. Additionally, there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bath/shower area. When I brought the dirty to night clerk, I informed her that I needed shampoo & conditioner for the following evening, she stated it would be communicate to housekeeping that day. When I returned that evening, none was present and I was disappointed and gave up on this staff.............
