Westchase
This was a terrible place. It smelled like smoking in the hallway. The carpets were dirty and blackened. The room smelled terrible. The bathroom and bathtub were dirty. I didn't shower. Breakfast was lacking. Only good thing was the nice lady at the front desk.

Rooms / Beds were fine. Our problem (Room 104) was that after spending the night we found grub worms crawling on our bathroom floor and carpeted room area. We had not noticed them that afternoon / evening. Kind of disgusting. I pointed the problem out to the staff and they were genuinely concerned. They found the problem was an exterior trash can located just outside of our exterior door to our room apparently had food in it that had not been emptied for a while and the grub worms were everywhere underneath and inside of the trash recepticle. Sadly, they found their way into our room. I had rented 4 rooms for our family of 9. We did not have any problems with grub worms, etc in any of the other rooms. Overall the location is a bit isolated although close enough to the Houston Hobby Airport, They DO NOT have shuttle service to or from the airport. It is a smaller property. It was across the street from a Super Walmart so that was convenient if you were shopping for anything.

Live in a lot of stores, chain price is good, mainly because the price is relatively cheap, the bed was clean and comfortable, breakfast is OK, meat, fruit and bread, can eat more full.

Northwest Houston
This hotel would be at the very bottom of the pile if not for the heroic efforts of the staff in reopening being without power after a severe storm. However it simply doesn’t meet standard of basic cleanliness in some areas and really just needs new paint, furnishings, door seals, etc. over five nights I can say the staff are terrific, though
