I like this hotel. It is a 10 min walk from Church street where you could have some interesting things to explore. The hotel has been fully modernized and offers very quirky rooms with a London twist. If you want something a little different this could be the place for you. The room was large and very comfortable. The bed was great and so was the bathroom. The price was good too for this level of accommodation in the area .And.. the people are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend using this place.

Actually had stayed at the other Ibis further down the same road, the room was bigger and the alcohol was far more reasonable in price. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with their colleagues than helping me check in, I had left them earlier and just wanted to check in to my room. Very frustrating having a poster with a pint and a pizza, and then when I asked for it, we are not doing it... Check out lady this morning was delightful.

In general, the hotel is a very comfortable place. The staffs are so nice and very helpful. The restaurant for the breakfast are also really good. And it is located in a very convenient location, you can very easy to take bus to Richmond or ealing board way to go to central london or the airport. My mum visit me in London. I booked a 2 bed’s room, but basically the room is only for her to stay. She lived there for 10 nights. The hotel guaranteed that they will do housekeeping every 7 days. For the last night I choose to stay with her. However, I accidentally found the bed is full of hairs. Some hairs are short, and some are long. Which should not belongs to my mum. It means the housekeepers have not change the bed sheet and those hairs are not belongs to my mum, because she stay in only 1 bed. But that bed with hairs is the other one. Clean and tidy for a bed is the basic requirement for an accommodation. That’s really disgusting and unacceptable for an apartment hotel. All in all, I would recommend other travelers to stay but the hotel should train staff to do the room cleaning well.

GGuest User 2022.10.02
Although I reviewed this hotel back in June, I thought I would give an update on our last, and definitely final, visit to this hotel. In July we stayed at the Sheraton for one night and parked our car at the hotel for 3 weeks. After midnight, when we had gone to bed, we heard a high powered car being revved and raced around the car park. Yes, someone was using the car park as a race track, using the cars parked there as the edges of the track! Someone else was taking pictures on their mobile phone. We contacted reception, who sent out a security guard and another member of staff. They, however, obviously knew the people racing the car and had a good laugh and joke with them before returning to the hotel, leaving the racers still revving their car and taking photos. I took photos too (attached). My wife was incensed by this total lack of interest from the hotel, and stormed down to reception. One of the people who had gone out to the car was there, plus the duty manager looking rather sheepish. They apologised with a grin on their faces and seemed to think that it was totally acceptable to them that this was going on as the people racing the car were members of staff!!! An incredible attitude. And it was obvious from their reaction that this was not a first time occurrence. Realising that we weren't going to get anywhere with the totally useless members of staff, and as by now the racers had left, we decided to raise the problems with a senior member of staff the following day. A couple of the managers we spoke to on the following day were disgusted at what had happened the previous night. Unfortunately they had already handed in their resignation as they weren't happy with the way the hotel is being run. So decide if you're happy to leave your car at a hotel that condones its staff using the car park as a race track and what damage they could do to your car. Remember, any damage to your car is not the responsibility of the hotel, even if it's their own staff who have caused the damage! Please read the other reviews regarding cars being damaged at this Hotel. I posted a review on the Marriott website and received a very defensive response from the front desk duty manager. She apologised for the fact that staff were racing cars in the car park but didn't seem to really take it seriously. This experience, combined with the non-working air conditioning in the bedrooms, the tvs in the bedrooms that often don't work, the gaffer-taped tatty old carpeting in the hallways, the scruffy pool area that is hardly ever swept clean, the downgraded quality of the Club Lounge and the withdrawal of the Club concierge service seems to be indicative of a company seeking to justify changing the branding of this hotel to one of Marriotts budget brands. However, they're still charging 4 star prices for a hotel that now struggles to give one star service. Shame on you Marriott for ruining a formerly very good quality hotel. Lastly, I expect to receive a very bland re

Mercure London Heathrow - Saturday 19th November 2022 - 15:15 Entrance is on street level door and has automatic doors. On arrival there was a coach party queuing and the queue went out the main door. I joined that queue and eventually checked in approximately 20 minutes after I joined the queue. The male receptionist seemed flustered and the female receptionist didn’t seem to be doing much. I’ve checked into other hotels where I have been part of a coach group and they normally make us all stand to one side and then call individuals/ couple over to check in; that way when other guest arrive at least one of the receptionist can switch to the new guest and then they don’t have to join a long queue and be inconvenienced. Our room was on the ground floor but I did see lifts. Room: The usual things like a hairdryer, iron in the wardrobe, fridge and safe in a cupboard and on top of the cabinet was the coffee/ tea facilities but no spoons to stir your drinks. Big TV - there seem to be a decent amount of channels my only issue was the back of the control was missing so you had to jiggle the batteries to get it to work; I took a photo just in case they try to charge me for damage. Bed was comfy, pillows were ok. There is a lamp and spotlight either side of the bed. The switch on the wall by the bed operates the main light, you switch the lamp/ spotlight off using two black buttons under the arm of the lamp; not an obvious way to control the light. A desk with lamp and phone, quite handy if you have some work to do. Bathroom: Floors a bit weird, it looks like they have stuck some Christmas paper over the original tiles to cover something up, poor workmanship, looks cheap, not a good look. Usual towels and shampoos and things; I was going to use the bath mat in the shower but when I saw how dirty and stained it was I didn’t bother. The sealant around the sink and bath taps needs redoing and there is rust around the bathroom taps. Toilet handle is a bit loose and it took 3 attempts to get it to flush. Parking: There are two levels to the parking, I drove into the top level, very tight parking and for a hotel of this size there isn’t enough spaces. I informed the reception I’d parked my car and was informed of the £16 charge for 24 hours. I paid my fee and entered my registration on a system. Bar: Small bar but plenty of seating. We asked a member of staff at what time the bar closed and we were told last orders were at 22:45 which would imply if you went to the bar at this time you could still get a drink. At 22:40 they were cashing up the till. Initially when you walk in the room it looks really nice but then you notice the faults. This morning I went to get something from the car and as I walked through reception you could see the tables from last night hadn’t been cleared as they still had glasses on tables from last night. Overall it was average, initially the room looked lovely but on closer inspection it needs a revamp and att

We booked this hotel as we were attending a concert at Wembley. Hotel was reasonably priced as most were overpriced due to the concert being on. We arrived at 1pm 1hr before checking in as I had read that there ain’t many parking spaces available and as we were driving ideally a parking space would be perfect. Hotel was easy to find using the sat nav, when we arrived I parked outside the front of hotel all spaces were taken out the front but luckily they had a space available in the gated carpark. This is quiet small so we were lucky to have got one. We were also allowed to check in 1hr early as a room was ready. The hotel receptionist was friendly and very helpful, check in was easy and quick he asked if we were attending the concert at Wembley and gave us the quickest and best route to get there using public transport. In the end we ended up getting an Uber for £10 direct and was only about 15 min journey. If you prefer you can get a bus outside to the tube station or walk roughly 10 mins to nearest tube station. We found our hotel room to be clean and tidy and had adequate space. The room was a little out dated decorative but has all amenities we needed. As it was a warm day they had a fan provided. To return from Wembley we walked away from Wembley and got an for £13 as public transport was a nightmare which was to be expected. We would definitely use this hotel again as like I said staff were lovely and friendly and location was good for what we needed.

Pros: 1. Good location. Close to shops, restaurants, and Earl's Court tube stop. 2. Lobby is cute. 3. Family room is basically two rooms (1 full/queen in one room, and 2 twins in the other). 4. Small kitchen (though the stovetop range was hard to use and they do not provide any bottled water or cooking spray/oil) 5. Free laundry & gym (though very small dryers that take many tries to get laundry dry) 6. Front desk people are nice and friendly (but very casual, not the usual level of British service) 7. Provide some teas/coffees in the room, plus a safe and a yoga mat. 8. I guess one plus of the rooms being so dark (and being in the ba*****t) was that we slept really well because of the darkness. Cons: 1. No one helps you with your luggage up the stairs or to your room. 2. Trust the reviews: the rooms are very dim. The lighting is way too dark and flickers. If you want to read a book, forget it. 3. NO CLEANING. I thought I would be cool with this, but really, it's not cool to not offer any cleaning. If you ask (repeatedly) for more towels or something, they will provide. 4. Toilets barely flush. When you ask them to fix it, they ask ”well, did it work when you checked in?” 5. While the lobby is cute (except for the very strong scent pumped in and loud music), once you get off of the lift, the hallways are dark, drab, and have old carpeting reminiscent of an unremodeled Las Vegas hotel. They really need to freshen up the hallways/carpets. 6. Only provided 2 towels per room and two hand towels, no washcloth. 7. No mat in the tub/shower. We slipped several times. 8. When you put trash or towels outside your room to be picked up, it often takes all day for someone to collect them. 9. Texted/called multiple times to ask for towels, and it took going to the front desk and having the employee actually come downstairs with me and hand them to me to get more/clean towels. 10, No napkins or paper towels in the kitchen. We had just come from another hotel, The Gore, that was just slightly more expensive and was WORLDS better in terms of service, amenities, comfort, and beauty. Unfortunately, Ember Locke was a disappointment. And I am normally not a picky hotel person. Would not recommend.

I don’t usually stay in Ibis hotels but this one is like no other ibis hotel I’ve stayed at. From the laid back informal reception area to the contemporary rooms this was a good overnight stay. I appreciated the welcome cookies. The room was spacious but clearly designed for short stays in regards to storage space. There’s USB ports by the bedside. The bathroom has a shower, no bath and good to see the body soap and shampoo in dispensers rather than individual plastic bottles. The water though was only luke warm. The Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Location is excellent in the centre of town and just a few minutes walk to the station. The restaurant menu was limited but adequate for most tastes. My only complaint was the pulsing noise of the bathroom extractor fan which is independent of the air conditioning in the room and not able to switch off.

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at the Hilton Syon Park as we were going to a concert nearby. We booked massages for the morning. Upon waiting in the relaxation room, I was greeted by Sandra who was so lovely. Throughout the treatment I felt totally relaxed and Sandra focused on the areas where I felt tight without me even me identifying this beforehand. The hot stones and stretching were so relaxing and I felt rejuvenated. Once the treatment was completed, Sandra explained where I was holding tension and the areas she focussed on and some advice. Thank you so much to Sandra, not only was she so lovely but very good at what she does.

GGuest UserWe booked this Holiday Inn at last minute due to a sporting event nearby. We recently stayed in another Holiday Inn which was excellent, so hoped that this would be the same. The on-site parking was also very important. On arrival at 3:30pm after paying for parking we were told at check in that the car parking space was not guaranteed to hotel guests. The hotel holds functions so it can get full in the evening, but not to worry there is a multi story car park a ten minute walk away!! We went to the rugby event not knowing whether we would be able to park at the hotel on our return. Our Executive room was a disappointment. The safe was not working, the wifi slow and inconsistent, the bed base was torn and the room generally needed a freshen up. It did appear clean. The room was not quiet. The room had a coffee machine as well a kettle etc for tea though No teabags. Only one bathrobe etc. Simple basics that were not right which were a disappointment. The reception staff were sympathetic, very helpful and we could sense their frustration that these simple things were not right.

Has a lovely swimming pool which always has a decent temperature alongside a sauna and a gym. Excellent changing rooms but found to be very cold when entering. This hotels has excellent staff working here and this visit was by far the best. I had a lovely warm Top class female named Priti check us out. Priti had very good humour and made us smile she was very helpful and mentioned we still had complimentary welcome drinks left on our room stay which we had before we left. Very professional and excellent communication skills from staff here. Attentive and very helpful never appear to be stressed. Go far and beyond. Keep up the good work. GGuest UserI need to preface this with: I booked this 2 months ago for 3 people. We arrived via a side door, checked in and told our room is on the second floor. We weren't directed to stairs or a lift, we just had to find out own way. Once we made it up the four flights of stairs, we were greeted by a room with 2 beds.. But there are 3 of us! We immediately call reception to be told that they are looking into it and will call us back. We sit in our first (YES, FIRST) room for 20 minutes before chasing up with the reception staff. We are told that a colleague is on the way, Great! We meet him in the stairwell as we weren't sure he would be able to find us. He advises that there aren't any rooms as they are fully booked. But sir, we booked a triple room, 2 months ago, why was this not accommodated for at the time? He said that they had a potential room in the basement we can look at. We query if there are 3 beds, his response ”just come and look”. Again, we ask: Are there 3 beds though? - ”Come and look, we can get you more blankets if you are happy with it”. Sorry sir, excuse me? He then informs us that we can leave our bags in the HALL WAY. We are not leaving our belongings in the hallway. We go down 6 flights of stairs to the basement to be shown a studio flat with 1 double bed, a single bed in an office and... yes.. you guessed it.. a sofa. Ah, that is why he said he can get us extra blankets. We inform the member of staff that this isn't acceptable. He states that there are no more rooms. We reiterate that we booked this 2 months ago for 3 people and wonder why we haven't been accommodated. We are THEN told there is a room, but the lights don't work. We go in and the lights do work but one of the beds has been slept in, the toilet is dirty and used (as has the shower) and there are hand prints on the ceiling. The wifi also isn't reliable. We ask for 3 pillows - receive 2 (as the beds didn't have pillows). We tell the member of staff that the toilet is dirty and he says - quite flippantly - ”well.. do you want me to come and clean it?” I'm sorry but he should be saying that he WILL come and clean it. The room has obviously been used and not cleaned at all. We are woken up by people walking up and down the corridor banging loudly (We are in the basement remember) and I am pretty sure someone tried to come in, but luckily we locked the door!

I can comfortably say this is the best hotel i have ever stayed in. The fact there was no TV meant we had to talk to each other. The upside down socket were a qwerk that i think will catch on. And the fella slamming the door over and over again at 11pm when i was teying to goto sleep reminded me of home in the ukraine. Best holiday ever i didnt want to leave the room
