It’s a shame there isn’t a grouping for not quite average but not quite poor. I stayed here for a one night stopover whilst working in the area. Nice old pub, but I was a little disappointed to see three hand pumps for ale, none of which were available. Just your routine cold fizzy lagers from around the world. I had an evening meal from and extremely limited menu which was at best, average. The room I had was comfortable enough, but the mattress was starting to feel a little threadbare. No ensuite, so a shared bathroom and separate WC which didn’t give me a problem, but might not be for everyone. This is a lovely old building, but it comes with the things you would associate with lovely old buildings. Creaky floorboards and a few draughts here and there. Again, nothing unexpected in a building of this age, but it was a case of once someone started moving in their rooms, the creaky floorboard sounds made it both difficult to get to sleep and meant an early undesired wake up call. You get what you pay for, and my stay wasn’t completely unpleasant, but would I stay here again? Possibly, but I would consider alternatives first.

I was given a very bad room. There were still several steps from the bathroom. I went to the front desk and asked to change the room. The front desk said there was no room. Why didn't you give me a better room? Sure enough, I got up in the middle of the night and tripped on the toilet. And there was no phone in the room, so I went to the front desk to ask anything. The wifi signal disappears as soon as the room door is closed. If you want to use wifi, you cannot close the door. You can meet any strange flower,

After a 12 hour flight, staying at Moxy was a welcome relief. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They explained everything we needed to know so we could enjoy our stay. The room was spacious for a family of 4, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing. There was a large selection of food and drinks ajd was a great wah to start the day. There is a small gym on the ground floor which is well stocked with a variety of exercise equipment. The theme and decor of the hotel is modern and artistic. Locstion wise, it is easy to get to from Heathrow Airport. Overall, we had a great stay and wished it could have been longer.

A convenient hotel if you’re going to catch a flight. Service is excellent, helpful, and very friendly staff. We get upgraded for free to executive room.

Although I reviewed this hotel back in June, I thought I would give an update on our last, and definitely final, visit to this hotel. In July we stayed at the Sheraton for one night and parked our car at the hotel for 3 weeks. After midnight, when we had gone to bed, we heard a high powered car being revved and raced around the car park. Yes, someone was using the car park as a race track, using the cars parked there as the edges of the track! Someone else was taking pictures on their mobile phone. We contacted reception, who sent out a security guard and another member of staff. They, however, obviously knew the people racing the car and had a good laugh and joke with them before returning to the hotel, leaving the racers still revving their car and taking photos. I took photos too (attached). My wife was incensed by this total lack of interest from the hotel, and stormed down to reception. One of the people who had gone out to the car was there, plus the duty manager looking rather sheepish. They apologised with a grin on their faces and seemed to think that it was totally acceptable to them that this was going on as the people racing the car were members of staff!!! An incredible attitude. And it was obvious from their reaction that this was not a first time occurrence. Realising that we weren't going to get anywhere with the totally useless members of staff, and as by now the racers had left, we decided to raise the problems with a senior member of staff the following day. A couple of the managers we spoke to on the following day were disgusted at what had happened the previous night. Unfortunately they had already handed in their resignation as they weren't happy with the way the hotel is being run. So decide if you're happy to leave your car at a hotel that condones its staff using the car park as a race track and what damage they could do to your car. Remember, any damage to your car is not the responsibility of the hotel, even if it's their own staff who have caused the damage! Please read the other reviews regarding cars being damaged at this Hotel. I posted a review on the Marriott website and received a very defensive response from the front desk duty manager. She apologised for the fact that staff were racing cars in the car park but didn't seem to really take it seriously. This experience, combined with the non-working air conditioning in the bedrooms, the tvs in the bedrooms that often don't work, the gaffer-taped tatty old carpeting in the hallways, the scruffy pool area that is hardly ever swept clean, the downgraded quality of the Club Lounge and the withdrawal of the Club concierge service seems to be indicative of a company seeking to justify changing the branding of this hotel to one of Marriotts budget brands. However, they're still charging 4 star prices for a hotel that now struggles to give one star service. Shame on you Marriott for ruining a formerly very good quality hotel. The hotel customer service is perfect since before I stayed with them. I queried at a late night before I booked the hotel about the airport shuttle bus as I am flying from a different terminal. The staff on the line is very kind and helpful. Hotel staff are very friendly and efficient on check in at late night. I have paid for the breakfast but I left very early. So they have offered me to go to the holiday inn to have the breakfast instead because holiday inn breakfast section will start earlier. They provided fast checkout, similar to other airport hotels. The walking area from the tube station to the hotel is all covered and not too far. So I don’t need to worry when it is raining. But it is a bit cold in April, so make sure you have enough clothing. The hotel room is reasonably big. Only shower area is available in my room. The room is clean with a notes left by the cleaner, not sure if this is IHG policy or not. But this is really responsible. Bed is comfortable and there is charger next to it as well. There is free water bottle available in the room as well.

To here because of catching the flight after checking out from the uni student hall. The hotel is close to Terminal 4 of Heathrow Airport and the instructions for going to the hotel are clear, just about 5 minutes from the terminal exit near Heathrow Terminal 4. Go upstairs via the lift to the level written 'hotel'. The staff is very nice and they allow me to check in at about 12PM which is normally after 14PM without any charges. The staff is friendly and willing to solve problems. The room I got is really nice and see no dust or trash in the room. The bed is nicely tidy and all the devices in the room like tv, clothes iron and its desk, dryer, etc. The free breakfast included for all guests is not very impressive but fair enough. It's a buffet and it had bread, beans, bacon, sausage, etc, just a classic all-day breakfast you can get in the UK. The check out process is simple, just drop the card into the box named Check Out and you can freely leave.

I loved this place so much, so we ended up using it as our base ❤️ while in Korea The staff were lovely, they helped book out early morning taxi and gave help with other small problem we had only downside no table in the room but never mind

Stayed here with family while visiting Chessington theme park. The hotel is located in nice quite part with beautiful views. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Staff recognised my membership status and explained all benefits. The room had few stains but overall was comfortable. Note the place has no restaurant or anything at walking distance but few local places offer delivery. Breakfast was unfortunately a bit letdown for us 2 days in a row as the hash browns were cold and croissants not warm! Being vegetarian that were the options I went for as didn’t have much choice. Thankfully good coffee machine so had lovely cappuccino. I will however stay again more for the great staff and the location of the hotel.
