The Firs Lodge

I had an Excellent stay, my favourite place in hounslow. Clean, friendly staff, excellent location, comfy bed, quiet room. Always feel well looked after, next to the tube station and many shops near by. Highly recommend, place is hidden gem 🙏

Staff were friendly and helpful they helped us with bags to the rooms Rooms were clean and tidy with tea and coffee inside 30 minutes to Twickenham stadium was good to go 24 hrs reception was nice so no worries for late coming back In morning full English breakfast was delicious Will stay here again

Booked for 3 nights, left after 1. Advertised as a comfortable and homely lodge, though it is anything but. When we were given our FIRST room, it had a dank cigarette smell that lingered, and stains on the towels. The bathroom was tiny with mould in the shower and on the tap of the sink. We didn’t even want to drink the water there. We asked to be moved to a different room which was only a little better - the window had a crack that let in the cold air and noise of the main road and the chatter of people who were standing outside. This new room didn’t have a curtain and only blinds that still let the lights of the building come through. Noise from staff and guests outside our room could be heard at an annoyingly loud volume - lots of coughing and sneezing as well. The doors were very old fashioned with the keyhole being large enough for someone to peek in. The door also will not properly close unless locked with a key - you could push the door open without turning the door knob. There were various mysterious stains on the walls, chair and table. We didn’t feel clean taking our socks off. And when we wanted to wash up in the shower there was either boiling hot water or ice cold - no in between. We got in at 8PM and were tired so we stayed reluctantly but had we gotten in earlier and hadn’t been travelling all day we wouldn’t have stayed at all. The only redeeming quality was the friendly reception staff. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

This hotel is something that is difficult to describe. We stayed for a night with the husband and the child. So we were given a room on the first floor extremely dirty, the bedspread dirty with some stains, the bathroom dirty and full of hair, the dirty floor, the colbul lingers everywhere. The window was broken, all night long I had a cigarette smell coming from outside and because there was electricity due to the Broken Glass, the child woke up with snot and fever . In the morning we were brought breakfast with mold on bread. So this hotel is not worth any money. It's absolutely filthy and the food is rotten . When I asked him why the bread was moldy, he shrugged.

We had booked two rooms in this quest house. Rooms were clean and just enough space for us. Showers was newly built, beds comfortable. Staff, especially manager very helpful and welcoming, price was good for location. No faults, excellent stay.
