I was pleased with the location and upkeep of the old buildings! Gorgeous property. Good AC and friendly staff. Only two complaints - not easy to find someone at reception and the breakfast was hard to call breakfast.

Hotel Arisha is very nice with 400 years of history. Unfortunately for us staying there became a nightmare. Hotel rented it's space for the party of the famous international company without warning us about it. We come to the hotel to sleep because we have 20+ hours trip the next day. Well imagine sleeping on stage during the concert and you will get the idea. There was no way to sleep with such loud music. When we ask how long it will last they promised that the music will stop before the 23:30, but at 0:15 the music was still playing and stoped only when we come to the receptionist for the second time. I give 2 stars because they were sorry for what happened and even permits to stay in hotel a few hours more than normally. If you are young and don't mind to stay without the door to the bathroom (only the curtain) and don't need to go to sleep early this hotel can be a good choice.

Our group stopped at this hotel for lunch as we were traveling through Djerba. We had reservations, and everything was ready for us. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. We had the usual olive oil and bread. We were served chicken and the usual salads.

Very nice small hotel in the center of the medina. The welcome is friendly, we are kindly helped with the luggage. The room is in the local style, very clean, there is hot water, heating and the patio is very pleasant. I regret not having tried the restaurant which looks great. It's so much better than the big soulless resorts with tourists who just come to binge. The food there seems to be of good quality. I will try this famous restaurant next time.

Very good cuisine! new menu of delicious tapas with a good bottle, relaxed atmosphere. Also good for a dinner aperitif or a seated meal around a swimming pool. Good address in the center of Houmet souk. Very pleasant terrace. Art gallery and shop. Musical atmosphere.
