We stayed for 3 nights as a break. Was it ok? Yes I suppose so. It was what it was. The room was ok, bed was comfortable but the traffic noise was constant. Couldn’t close the window because it was too hot, no A/C, not that it would have done much good because the window didn’t close properly anyway. We opted for the meal deal and ate at the adjacent Beefeater restaurant. Breakfast was quite good but better quality products would improve it greatly, the sausages were quite strange, looked good but lacked taste or texture. Dinner was only average. I cannot point to anything and say that was wrong or not good enough but it was just ok. Not a place I would choose to to eat at again. Service in the restaurant was, again, ok. It was slow, sporadic and a bit slapdash but generally ok. As with this type of establishment staffing was at a minimum but they seemed to cope. The same goes for the hotel itself. The staff were ok, they did nothing wrong but I felt like I was someone to be tolerated rather than a paying customer. Not a happy workforce? Would I come back? No. Would I recommend the hotel? No. Was anything specifically wrong with the place? No. The place needs facelift and a shake up. The days of mediocrity should be, hopefully, over.

Nice room. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Really poor free WiFi. The first night a little unnerving at the parking lot because of a person who went and looked in all the cars. Delt with by the reception.

A lovely quiet, clean, friendly staff, Was upstairs room second building, was very hot room, had fan on all night. stayed 2 nights before going on Ferry, 5 mins your in Dover. cant fault the hotel. Only beware of meal deal with Beefeater, Half the menu you have to pay Extra. selected drinks, we ate first night, was looking forward to fish n chips, but told at 7pm no fish n chips, so I had beef pie n mash, ended up with food poisoning through night ( only brought pie up ). Breakfast was luke warm and my Black pudding was so thin it was hard as nails, fried egg n sausage was not eatable, hard. 1 Toaster a joke, 1 coffee machine so be prepared to wait in line. Ended up with cereal. Second night we went into Dover and had the best Fish n Chips for price of 1 meal deal at beefeater. sat in car watching ferries. brilliant. Lovely Hotel, Crap disgusting Beefeater. The only way Beefeater survives cos its next door to hotel and most only stay 1 night.

The room appeared clean, but little did we know that there were bed bugs hidden in the dark pull out sofa in the room! Not stayed in any place since and now have an infestation in my home, and discovered that I'm allergic to their bites.

Again you know what you're getting with a premier inn, and this hotels is a good standard of premier inns (the norm) unfortunately the restaurant is very under staffed and the staff work hard to give a good service, please don't think because you've booked on the website and it get accepted that your booking has been confirmed because i booked online and this was confirmed and when i arrived at the beefeater my booking was rejected at the last minute. All the staff at this location whether at the hotel or within the restaurant works very hard and it is noticed.

The service was brilliant, the prices were really fair, the food served was excellent in quality and size. The room was perfect and clean. The best Premier Inn we have ever stayed in. Simple parking, very conveniently located to local sites.
