The room smelled so bad I had to resort to using a car airfreshener to mask the odour. A combination of bad drains and damp doesn't make for a great experience. Thank goodness it was only for a few hours overnight before we caught the ferry. Convenient carparking and close proximity to the port the only positives. I have already cancelled our stay on the return journey.

The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean The blackout curtains were just what you need on a strong sunny day to get a good night's sleep I would book again if I am ever catching a ferry from Dover.

Receptionist checked in someone not listed on my booking so I arrived to find my booking that I paid for in my name already had someone in there that wasn't authorised to be in there. Bedroom curtains had suspicious white stains on them which was disgusting. Toilet was heavily stained inside which was off putting. Staff unfriendly and not interested in guests. Arrived and had to wait a long time for a receptionist to come to the desk to check me in as it was not staffed. Staff in the morning on check out were not friendly and were slagging off a guest when I walked up to them.

Although the room, bed & evening meal were good, we had prepaid for breakfasts, but on arrival for breakfast we were told there was no hot food as they didn't have a Chef! Continental choice was poor. Still trying to get a refund for breakfasts, but so far Premier Inn are not responding.

Dark and dingy room that would benefit from a makeover - or a good clean at the very least. We've never stayed anywhere where you get other guests toe nail clippings on the carpet before....!! On arrival we were informed that we wouldn't be getting our pre-booked cooked breakfast as there was no chef, however, to be fair, a refund was issued immediately.... The only plus point at this hotel was the young man in reception, who interrupted his evening meal to check us in and issue a refund for the breakfast.... We would, however, not use this establishment again....

Usual high standards of comfort in the room, food at the adjoining Beefeater was decent enough, a bit expensive for what it was. Wifi was non existent, had to rely on 4G which was also not very strong and was also a bit hit and miss depending where in the room you were

Lots of noise during the night from the appartment above us. We woke up (and I am a deep sleeper...). No breakfast although we made a reservation and paid for it. The restaurant told us the receptionist forgot to book us a table... No alternative options were made. We had to find a breakfast in the supermarket.

We had a pleasant stay here. Very quick and easy check in. Super friendly and helpful staff. We needed a room change, and this was quickly and efficiently sorted. Secure parking. Easy access to Le Shuttle. Would highly recommend staying here.
