We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary weekend! The staff was truly amazing and made our trip extra special! I can’t say enough nice things about each of the staff! Zachary at the concierge was extra helpful and made sure we had everything we needed!

Well, we did enjoy our time at the Homestead. There were a few drawbacks to our stay the wait times for the restaurants were ridiculous and the options for vegan dairy free were very few. We really enjoyed the warm pool. We went to play mini golf and nobody was there. A sign said to Contact someone from the pool, but when we went to the pool, there was no one there So that was disappointing. My son found a small clear container of about 30 pills in the desk drawer in our hotel room. The container just had an easily accessible lid that he could’ve taken off. Luckily, he knows better and to tell us about these things. That just seems very negligent of the cleaning staff. The fireworks on Saturday night were very cool and we enjoyed them.

The Homestead is a beautiful resort you must visit. From check in to check out, the staff are extremely professional and always courteous. The resort offers something for everyone, and the accommodations are glorious. We highly recommend a visit, you won't regret it!

My wife and I have stayed at the Homestead several times since the 'Grand Reopening' in October 2023, the Virginia Wine Tasting in May, 2024, and then our recent stay in October, 2024. During each "Premiere View" room stay we experienced hotel problems. 1. No hot water to shower, 2. Main dining-room HVAC system down for the expensive wine tasting dinner and food found left in room frig, 3. Tower elevators down requiring down & up stair climbing, floor 11 to 19. I am 74 years old. Frankly, my wife does not want to hear about visiting The Homestead.

We revisited the Homestead for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had spent our honeymoon there in 1984. The Homestead was just as lovely this trip as it was 40 years ago. From checkin to checkout the service was great. We dined at several restaurants including the Jefferson Room, the Jefferson taproom, Rubino’s, Martha’s Bakery and the beautiful Audubon Dining Room. All of our food and drinks were perfectly prepared and the servers were knowledgeable and friendly. We played golf at the Cascades which was a really nice course despite the windy conditions. There are plenty of activities for all ages. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful resort in the Virginia mountains!

The Omni Homestead Resort is a piece of living history. Set in the breathtaking Allegheny Mountains of Virginia, this resort has everything from 10 dining options and world-class courses to horseback riding. My room was Schumacher Pyne Hollyhock-decorated rooms. Year round swimming pools, spa with aquatic therapies and the standout offering is the hotel Warm Sprint Pools.

Two people that must have a shout out….. Kobi and Benjamin made our experience so special. It’s nice to see that awesome customer service is still available and it’s here. All the staff is there to please. I’ll be back as often as possible. Whatever the drive for you…trust me, this is not too far for the experience!

The Omni Homestead is a great spot for families or couples but the lack of service around the entire property is extremely disappointing given how expensive everything is. We waited over an hour at several meals for our food to come out. Staff struggled with the simplest of requests at each meal and in talking to many of them they were all fairly new and inexperienced. The property is great and provides many options for adults and children but if we are going to spend the kind of money that the Homestead charges we expected much better service.

This was my second trip to the Homestead, as I loved it so much the first time. The spa services were probably the best I have ever experienced, and the healing waters (surprisingly) completely got rid of my arthritis in my hands. The food service and taste was top notch. I am from Atlanta where we have very high end restaurants so my taste is rather selective, and the Homestead knocked it out of the park! Very comfortable beds and pillows also. I feel completely restored having spent a lovely weekend there!
