Krabi Town Hostels

"This is a mixed hotel/hostel with rooms for families, couples and cheap group rooms. Floors are polished concrete so nothing fancy. Not many amenities in the rooms though they did have a refrigerator and microwave downstairs everyone could use. We booked for location, thinking next to the river was good to catch tours. That wasn’t true at all, though with tours sold 2 to 4 times per block nearby it wasn’t a problem as the tour vans picked us up. No photos to share. If you want to save money this is likely a good place."

"Extremely satisfied! Five stars is the maximum rating here, but not the hotel's maximum potential, if you know what I mean! First, the hotel is just 50 meters to the right after disembarking from the pier. No need for further transfers, which saves a lot of time and hassle, especially since you don't have to climb any stairs. From what I observed, many hotels on the island, especially resorts, require you to climb stairs even if staff are assisting with transportation. Second, the hotel's sea-view rooms have balconies with lounge chairs, and the view is dotted with longtail boats – absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery after a day of activities. Third, the room was spacious and clean, with very new facilities. The subtle scent of aromatherapy was very pleasant, and the room looked exactly like the photos on their official website. Fourth, it offers great value for money and includes breakfast. There's a wide selection of fruits, bread, coffee, juice, fried rice, fried noodles, and desserts. You can also order omelets and ham for free, and the breakfast area is a sea-view restaurant! Fifth, the location is incredibly convenient. You can catch a boat to Long Beach right outside, walk 300 meters for kayaking, and there are plenty of restaurants and massage places nearby. Plus, there are two 7-Eleven stores within 100 meters – super convenient! Finally, and very importantly, I saw some reviews mentioning discrimination against Chinese guests, but I didn't experience anything like that at all. Everyone was equally friendly. I had emailed the hotel in advance, explaining that my parents are elderly and need extra care, requesting adjacent rooms with good balcony views. The hotel replied promptly and thoughtfully arranged everything. When we arrived at the front desk around 11 AM, they immediately brought us welcome drinks and even had one room cleaned for us so my parents could check in early and rest! The entire trip was wonderful! If I had to mention a downside, it would be the lack of a swimming pool. But honestly, when you're on Koh Phi Phi, who needs a pool?! There was also a little bit of noise, as it's close to the pier, but the hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent soundproofing, so I didn't find it disturbing at all. Other than that, it's all positives! In short, our two-day trip to Koh Phi Phi was made even more enjoyable and happy thanks to this hotel!"

"The room comes with a good size, and the water pressure is really good. The air conditioning, curtains, and bed are all good. The location is also a plus, as it is close to 7-Eleven and Lotus’s. I will definitely return to stay here again."

"Me and my friend booked at Koko hostel for a short holiday thinking that since it's cheap we wouldn't expect anything only to find out that the place was the best we could've booked. There were many activities throughout our stay and we loved it there. Breakfast was good, the complimentary shots were great, and the staff has been very helpful. When our transport was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day, the hostel told us to just extend another night for a cheap price. Overall, it was the best experience we could have gotten in our trio to krabi. Shout-out to Sam, Caitlyn, and Djin for an unforgettable experience."

"A lovely hotel if you are looking for some peace and quiet. The place is a bit out of the way and there isn't much in the nearby village, but Ao nang is within reach with Grab."

"I liked staying at the pak up hostel so much! I stayed there just for a one night, but It have been the most comfortable sleeping ever. The hostel was located at the centre of old town of Krabi island, I was going to the nice market near to try the cheap thai food . It was the big area of hostel at the very quiet place with the many floors, swimming pool, bar, gym area, many coworking places. They gave a free drink for customers for every day, the breakfast was so tasty, differently and fresh. The mostly I liked the beds, were very comfortable and clean. The every room had its own different name, the room was big and clear, I had a locker with big space under my bed. The hostel has many shower rooms and toilets on the every floor."

"I will book this hotel next time. Although it is remote, there is a kitchen. For Guangzhou people, the most important thing is to eat. Thai food is not too good, only do it yourself. There is a private swimming pool, and the surrounding area is quiet! Perfect for a complete holiday life!"

"The room just looks like their pictures, spacious & clean. The location was great, next to city night market, walking distance to river & black crab night market. We love the TAN cafe at ground floor, their food is delicious & coffee / matcha was so good. The only comment about this hotel is their bed made us back pain because it is very hard."

"The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and lovely, offering great advice and recommendations. The room was clean and spacious, with excellent air conditioning. They also provided complimentary water and snacks for guests. It's conveniently located near tourist attractions, making travel easy. Overall, I was very impressed! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Krabi."
