"The room isn't very big, but it's clean. The location is great, close to the walking street. Parking might be a bit tricky as you have to find your own in front of the hotel, but it's easy to get around and the price is affordable."

"Extremely satisfied! Five stars is the maximum rating here, but not the hotel's maximum potential, if you know what I mean! First, the hotel is just 50 meters to the right after disembarking from the pier. No need for further transfers, which saves a lot of time and hassle, especially since you don't have to climb any stairs. From what I observed, many hotels on the island, especially resorts, require you to climb stairs even if staff are assisting with transportation. Second, the hotel's sea-view rooms have balconies with lounge chairs, and the view is dotted with longtail boats – absolutely beautiful! It was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery after a day of activities. Third, the room was spacious and clean, with very new facilities. The subtle scent of aromatherapy was very pleasant, and the room looked exactly like the photos on their official website. Fourth, it offers great value for money and includes breakfast. There's a wide selection of fruits, bread, coffee, juice, fried rice, fried noodles, and desserts. You can also order omelets and ham for free, and the breakfast area is a sea-view restaurant! Fifth, the location is incredibly convenient. You can catch a boat to Long Beach right outside, walk 300 meters for kayaking, and there are plenty of restaurants and massage places nearby. Plus, there are two 7-Eleven stores within 100 meters – super convenient! Finally, and very importantly, I saw some reviews mentioning discrimination against Chinese guests, but I didn't experience anything like that at all. Everyone was equally friendly. I had emailed the hotel in advance, explaining that my parents are elderly and need extra care, requesting adjacent rooms with good balcony views. The hotel replied promptly and thoughtfully arranged everything. When we arrived at the front desk around 11 AM, they immediately brought us welcome drinks and even had one room cleaned for us so my parents could check in early and rest! The entire trip was wonderful! If I had to mention a downside, it would be the lack of a swimming pool. But honestly, when you're on Koh Phi Phi, who needs a pool?! There was also a little bit of noise, as it's close to the pier, but the hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent soundproofing, so I didn't find it disturbing at all. Other than that, it's all positives! In short, our two-day trip to Koh Phi Phi was made even more enjoyable and happy thanks to this hotel!"

"Hotel is as photos and described is a bed in a narrow space with a fan and the a/c is turned on for the evening to sleep well. Owners are always available and very nice. Self laundry available downstairs. Plenty of restaurants, malls, market, museum and walking river area close by. Very clean, shampoo, soap, towel and blanket available. Super safe."

"Everything about this hostel is great: location, proximity to the beach and other amenities, facilities, cleanliness, relative quiet, and friendly staff. Downstairs, there's a fantastic bar-club, so you definitely won't get bored. They offer a free shot every day, and for an extra charge, you can join a bar crawl to all the best spots on the island. An excellent breakfast is included, and you can definitely fill up. All in all, it's a good place to stay."

"Stayed here for just one night, but I really loved the experience! The place was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. Even though it was a short visit, everything was smooth and pleasant. Definitely a great choice for a quick stay—I’d happily come back again!"

"A clean newly renovated property located on route 4, 5 km from the Krabi airport. which was very convenient for us. We stayed one night to catch a flight next morning, but, apparently, it's pretty far from any tourist attractions. It's a good value for money, except for one thing - a very unfriendly staff."

"This is an apartment complex in a building with a key fob entry system. It's far from the beaches and also far from the shops. Getting around requires transportation. Detailed check-in instructions are sent after booking through Trip.com. On the plus side, there's a shared kitchen and plenty of space in the room. Downsides: nowhere to park properly nearby. I couldn't sleep well – the bed linen is synthetic and covered in bobbles, it felt like lying on a sheet with sand on it. Please change the sheets – it's incredibly itchy. I was scratching all night 😭 The drain in the bathroom smelled of sewage and urine – I had to cover it with a wet towel. Please attend to the pipes. The towels and bedding themselves need a thorough wash: after getting wet, they started to smell like a rotten rag… Overall, I didn't get full comfort. However, there is Wi-Fi and YouTube works on the TV."

"Overall experience is okay. Staff is friendly and helpful however cleanliness part can be improved although there’s housekeeping on daily basis, table and floor is not being properly wiped or cleaned. WiFi not strong enough only work better at the common area."

"Good value, quiet stay with a few downsides Overall, Alpha Hostel is a good option for the price, especially if you’re looking for a clean and quiet place. The location is a bit far from the beach (around a 20–25 minute walk), which can feel long in the heat, so I’d recommend renting a scooter to get around more easily. The hostel itself is clean and well maintained. I really liked the no-shoes policy, and the rooms are cleaned daily. Towels are provided, and my room had a nice mountain view which was a plus. The common area was actually my favorite part, it’s a great space to relax or get some work done in the morning. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a small coffee counter where you can grab drinks. One downside is the bunk beds, they feel quite fragile, are difficult to climb, and can be shaky and noisy. Even staying in the lower bunk, it didn’t feel very stable. Also, food in the hostel isn’t halal, but there are many nearby restaurants that offer halal options, and there’s a mosque within walking distance, which is very convenient. Overall, a nice budget stay with a great atmosphere, but improvements on the beds would make a big difference."
