"Best thing I experienced which was not advertised was a free kitchen, where visitors cooked free breakfast and cleaned themselves. I enjoyed so much that I donated food every day to the kitchen. The hotel don't have windows which is a negative side. The rooms should include wardrobes and coffee tables. It's small cost but a big plus point. I would stay here again but would choose front room which a window."

"Walking distance to the Saturday and Sunday walking street and the night food market. Quiet hostel, everyone is very respectful and there was no party scene around which is nice. Spacious bed. They provide towel and toilet paper, the rest you gotta bring it yourself. I'd will stays here again whenever I am visiting Chiang Mai. The hot water doesn't work properly, but it's fine since it's really hot in Feb."

"There is a bus stop next to Grab on the right side of the exit of Gate 1 of Chiang Mai Airport. It costs 50 yuan per person to go directly to Tha Pae Gate, which is about 15 minutes away. The youth hostel is only a 1-minute walk from Tha Pae Gate. There are many restaurants and coffee shops around. 711 is a 3-minute walk away. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the space was large, the suitcase could be enlarged, and there was a small refrigerator in the room. Bottled water is provided every day, and water can also be collected in the public space downstairs. There is no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage yourself. The room has no mirror, which is the only drawback."

"It was my first time staying in hostel. I would say it was absolutely great experience for me. The place was nice and calm, super easy to walk around the city from hostel. There were all facilities you needed. Shower and toilet in the dorm, towel, locker, hairdryer, aircon. And bed was super comfy, I could fall asleep so easy."

"Maya Mall is close to Wonnimman and there are many delicious restaurants and cafes nearby~ It is a hostel with a friendly manager and a comfortable and free atmosphere! The hostel is cleanly managed so it was nice to stay there🙂"

Location: The hostel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Chiang Mai. Nestled in the bustling Nimman neighborhood, it offers easy access to the city center and is just a short drive from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. Host and Service: Mark, the hostel owner, was incredibly hospitable. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and was eager to share his knowledge of the city. His insights and tips on where to go and what to do in Chiang Mai greatly enhanced my experience. Accommodations: The rooms at October Hostel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While I stayed in a standard room this time, I was tempted by the option to upgrade to a much larger room. Given the quality of my stay, I am definitely considering this upgrade on my next visit! Overall Experience: I highly recommend October Hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Whether you’re a solo traveler or coming with friends, the combination of a great location, warm hospitality, and excellent facilities make this hostel a top choice. "This hostel was the cheapest I've ever experienced; I have to say, the bottom line for hostels in Thailand is really high! Although it was labeled as having been renovated in 2025, some of the bathroom facilities looked a bit dated, but that didn't bother me at all—the showers and toilets were spotless, with no odors or stains. The staff were incredibly attentive; they even had welcome coffee! I left my luggage there for two days, and they even helped arrange a motorbike rental, making my trip so much easier. That motorbike made me feel so happy!"

"Great service, easy check in and check out. The garden area is lovely and the place as a whole as well. The room is spacious and clean. Bed made and new water everyday. The staff were lovely and the location is great! Especially for going to freedom yoga. Only negative was the bed had big lumps and dips in it so the mattress was a little uncomfortable but overall the price and value is really good."
