"Traveling around Japan for two months, Aoshima Fisherman’s Beach Side Hostel & Spa was one of the best single traveler accommodations I stayed at. There is a hot spring club in the hotel. Guests staying here can use the ”Shintoku no Yu-Beauty Hot Spring ♨️” as many times as they want by purchasing a 700 yen ticket from a vending machine until 10 am the next day. The white sulfur spring is very slippery, which is very cost-effective and convenient for those who like to take a bath. The location is excellent, with a bus stop right at the door and popular attractions such as Aoshima Shrine and Devil's Washboard within walking distance. Qingdao Beach and Surfing Spot are just around the corner, only a few minutes' walk away. There is also a free hot spring shower area next to the beach, which is convenient for surfers or those who want to use it after playing in the water. The supermarket is just across the street, the convenience store is a few minutes' walk away, there are several restaurants downstairs, and there is a fish market next to it. It is very convenient whether you want to relax or eat delicious food. The overall environment is very clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is quiet and leisurely, making people feel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I originally planned to stay for two days, but because I liked it so much, I extended it to a week. Transportation: • Take the Nichinan Line from Miyazaki Station to Aoshima Station and walk for about 4-5 minutes. • Or take a bus (Miyazaki Kotsu) to the ”Aoshima” bus stop and get off there. The coastal town of Qingdao is sparsely populated, and the whole city rests in peace after sunset in the evening! Highly recommended to friends who like the seaside, hot springs and slow travel."

"Good location. Within easy walking distance to the beach. Boards can be rented. Unfortunately, a group of travelers did not respect the quiet rule in the sleeping area. It was quite loud for the duration of my stay. I would hope the hostel enforces the rules more strictly in the future."
