"The room is very well-furnished and the bedding is very clean and comfortable (better than my dormitory stay). The hotel is located in the city center and is very convenient to go everywhere. The beer fish downstairs is also affordable and delicious.
The boss is also very nice, and he also reinstalls the equipment. You can fool the boss into doing the wiring together.
I also met a friend. Although it only lasted two days, we seemed to have been friends for a long time. We will miss Huahua and ”Dad”. I started to miss it on the way to the high-speed rail station. The days in Guilin became precious because of the youth hostel."

MM491148****The car can be driven directly to the hotel entrance. The room is very clean. The balcony view is also good. You can see the terraced fields. Dazhai is very lively at night! The boss is also very enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful! It is worth recommending!

Location: It's not in a bustling area, so it's very quiet at night. It's also super close to West Street, which is really convenient.
Facilities: They even provided disposable toilet seat covers, which gave me great peace of mind! 👍🏻
Service: The owner was incredibly warm and helpful. They gave us a travel guide, and on our first night out, even showed us how to get to the Li River and West Street. Plus, we could rent electric scooters without a deposit!
My favorite part was definitely the balcony. My friend and I sat there, snacking and watching shows/movies, with mountains on both sides and a lovely little courtyard below. Last night, it rained, and falling asleep to the sound of the rain was just incredibly soothing. So comfortable!
I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit! 😆

LLB-UKFor me this hostel was the dream. 20 min walk from the town but yet looking out on to the beautiful mountains and a small farm.
The hostel was clean and had everything to i needed with also lots of books and games for rainy days. The hostel had cheap bike and scooter hire as well as helping with shuttles to the railways stations and help booking bigger activities.
Every staff member I spoke to had good English which made everything very easy!
I wish I could have stayed longer!

RRravlThe best value of this hostel is the location. It is at the heart of Guilin city, walking distance to all the major attractions. There are a lot of shopping and food selections. The room is a bit old, at level 4 without a lift. The toilet has some strange smell though. For solo traveller for sightseeing, it is a good choice

GGuest UserIt's a very cost-effective hostel with a good atmosphere. We share our plans for the next trip, share meals and rides, the room is on the fourth floor but the owner will help with luggage, the toilet in the room may be noisy at night, it would be better to wear earplugs or book a double room, there is a washing machine and laundry detergent on the rooftop, electric bikes are available for 20 or 30 yuan a day, the 30 yuan ones are easier to ride, the owner is very nice, he will help with questions about assembling bamboo rafts, and he even gave me a ride to the bus station when I left, there are still many places I haven't seen, I will come again next time!

JJinglingbeibaoyouxiaXingping Ancient Town Thirty Degrees Grey Youth Hostel – Male 4-bed dorm (private bathroom) for 45 RMB.
It really puts things in perspective! Compared to the hostel next door, the price is similar, but the facilities and overall environment here are noticeably older and more worn. However, it does have more of a traditional international youth hostel vibe. There's a nice big projector screen on the ground floor, which is a plus.
Being only 4 stories high, it's a bit short, and the rooftop doesn't offer much in terms of views. It's a nice touch that the rooms have balconies, though. The in-room WiFi is very weak, practically unusable; you have to go down to the ground floor lobby to get a decent signal.

IIdrisse D.I booked a bed in a 4-bed dormitory, with AC.
Because the room was not clean enough, i got an upgrade in a private bunked bed room, with a private bathroom.
All was clean.
Laundry facilities.
The WiFi was good.
The staff is very nice and friendly.
The location is very convenient.
I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

GGuest UserIn a great location - it’s a short walk too the city centre and several scenic areas. If you’re looking for something cheap and liveable, then that’s what it is. If you’re not a fan of squat toilets (or showers above squat toilets!!) then it’s not for you.

However, some of the information in the advert was not true: we had no wifi in our room and the staff didn't speak English at all. All the necessary amenities were present. Charming hotel in the hot season, which can very quickly become freezing when temperatures drop (no insulation).
