Royal Island Resort

The location is good and beautiful, but the access from Male Airport is pretty bad and hotel kept us wait at the airport for quite long. They only have 2 flight in one day and they never tell us the exact time previously. The facility is not bad though.

I can give easly 9,5. Excellent resort by many ways. Sea quality home reefs endless choice of fish even mini sharks and stingrays. I have never seen such a colorful sea. If you like snorkeling this is the best place effortlessly you can reach all you want. Welcome servis with NIPUN was great He was always there to help anything what we needed. For honeymoon couples they will treat you very well. Sunset restaurant best spot for special occasions Hotel spa 5* stayed all inclusive definitely worth it. Food choices were good service was excellent. Every night had life music and some entertainment. Several sport activities Room service was great very clean mini houses were well organized with private terrace. We loved every moment of our stay. Thank you for all the Royal stuff who made our holiday remarkable.

This resort was outstanding. We went to the Maldives last year to a different resort and loved it so much we booked again. Thank goodness we went there first as if we had gone there second, we would have been disappointed! Royal resort lt was outstanding in every way. Our concierge mark was excellent, remon who supplied our room was amazing and created awesome decorations, chathu at the restaurant was lovely and every person we met was just great. The nature and wildlife is also incredible, food was great, the excursions were interesting and unique, it was just excellent. Only downside is a few mosquitoes but they sell some repellent here for a few dollars (we brought some powerful stuff from uk that did nothing) that took me from over 20 bites in 1 day to 1 bite in 7 days so even this wasn’t a problem in the end.

My wife and I came to Royal Island for seven days. From the beginning to the end of our stay, we received warm hospitality from literally all the staff on Royal. Special thanks to Mark, our personal assistant. The island is a paradise for nature lovers, with a lot of forest and different birds and their sounds. In front of the beach villas is white sand, and after 30 meters of swimming, you reach a coral reef which surrounds the island. We like snorkeling and really enjoyed every moment. There is a diving center and adventure center offering many activities. It is really worth taking a snorkeling trip with mantas and the Wanderlust tour. The food was fantastic, and the villas were very comfortable and clean. All recommendations for Royal!

Not our first time in the Maldives but definitely the best trip so far. Mark took care of us really well during our stay. All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. The food in all the restaurants are excellent! All-Inclusive is the way to go. The beach, pool, excursions are all amazing and will have something for everyone. I would go back in a heartbeat!
