A superb meal enjoyed with friends, in a fantastic location. The food was absolutely delicious, the setting was stunning, and the service was first class - specially Louis, who looked after our table so attentively. I would highly recommend.

A lovely setting in the Terra restaurant. Although the roast was tasty the portions were very small. Lovely roast potatoes and yorky but only 2 small slices of lamb, half a carrot, half a parsnip, a teaspoon of butternut puree and some red cabbage. We had been to Cyan in the Grand in Brighton the previous Sunday and the offerings couldn't be more different with dessert and additional veg included at Cyan which means that on a value for money basis, Tottington was way behind.

We ate in the new taster menu room, it was a fabulous evening with amazing food, wonderful wine pairing, brilliant staff and an all around good time. Whilst an extravagant evening, it was exceptionally enjoyable. I heartily recommend the Totty to everyone who like fine dining at its best!

First time for us all but OMG the whole experience was amazing Wonderful New Year Gala. We also stayed overnight following Gala. The rooms were very comfortable. The grounds were very picturesque. Would like to stay for the next New Year. carol colin julie mike

We have a really nice evening. Lovely welcoming warm restaurant even when quiet. Great staff. Pheasant was average, pork trio good. Fab cheese plate. Will def revisit. Classy and welcoming. Will call by for a late afternoon drink or morning cuppa. Food wasn’t mind blowing but I will still happily look forward to returning.

Saw this hotel on "Four in a bed" so decided to try as celebrating an anniversary. Hotel is situated in the South Downs area, a beautiful place and we had a view of the downs from our room. Fabulous. Had dinner and breakfast. Food was superb some of the best we have had. Our room was ok, but the table beside the bed was rather wobbly. Fresh milk was provided on request. However, we had to ask twice for milk and an advertised kettle, with an hours wait! Service otherwise was very good, particularly the waitress we had at dinner and the waitress at breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and slept well. Would stay there again. Not cheap but worth it. Highly recommend.

We found ourselves needing a hotel last minute to miss hacking round the M25 on a Friday evening and found Tottington Manor by accident. We had our dog with us so I called to see if that was ok and it was. I booked a room there and then and within 25 minutes we were there, being welcomed by Mollie. The room was beautiful and spacious so we went downstairs for a drink in the garden to enjoy the sunshine. Every single member of staff was lovely and the bartender was knowledgable and allowed us to have a taster of draft beers we weren’t sure about. It was idyllic in the garden and a real haven after the crazy couple of days travel we’d had. We went for dinner in the restaurant, Terra, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have ever had - beautifully presented, delicious and satisfying. There was a good, laid back buzz in the hotel and the live music during dinner was excellent and not too much. After an amazing sleep in the comfiest of beds we had to leave very early so unfortunately missed breakfast (which I’m sure would have been equally delicious) but we were offered a takeaway coffee for our travels which was so thoughtful and very good. We will definitely be back and it was well worth the stop - I’m so glad we found it. Thanks to everyone for a memorable stay!

I have stopped here for a drink whilst cycling and the hotel is situated in a picturesque setting. It would have been lovely if the weather was great but it was pouring down so I had to enjoy the view from the inside instead. Drinks was decently priced and staff are friendly
