Lancasters Cottage

It happened again!! Just like the poor lady below last year I too was lost and after a four hour journey my satnav had taken me to this property which had the same postcode. Lost and confused on which way to go I knocked the door and stood back for a woman to answer with an evil scowl. I apologised for interrupting her evening and politely asked did she know where this other establishment was. She refused to help, she said there are 15 houses in this area with the same postcode and said well it quite clearly isn’t here is it!!! A very, very unhelpful and unfriendly person. Especially when the B&B I was staying was only 500 meters down the road. A simple it’s just right out of here would have sufficed! Possibly the rudest person I’ve met in the hospitality trade to date. And I’ve travelled all over the world with work and my family. I wouldn’t stay here if you paid me!! Manners cost nothing Lancasters cottage!

Really nice two night stay at Lancaster cottage. Lovely greeting and the views from the room are astounding. Extremely clean and quiet. Breakfast, very tasty... The egg and cheese omelette was just gorgeous.

Thankfully I didn’t stay here as I would have walked out immediately if this is how Lancaster Cottages treat people . I was lost in Littleworth as my satnav took me to this address . Not knowing the area I knocked on the door of the Lancaster Cottages to see if the accommodation I was booked into had changed name. The lady who answered the door was extremely rude and unfriendly closing the door in my face !!! 24 hours later I am still shocked at what happened !! How on earth can a person working in the tourist / service industry can treat another person this way ? I could have been a potential client for them but I would never recommend this place to anyone based on how damn right rude this lady was.
