"This was the most spacious and best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my UK trip.
Although our room overlooked the airport car park, it wasn't noisy at all; there was absolutely no aircraft or traffic noise.
Breakfast was also excellent.
The most convenient part was the direct access to the terminal via a connecting corridor. If you have a flight before noon the next day, I highly recommend staying here; you won't have to wake up early or worry about traffic."
"Big comfortable beds so can rest well before flight. We booked here due to flight cancellation and since I was travelling alone with a toddler, I needed somewhere I could easily reach without stressing about luggage. The airport is perfectly located for an easy commute. However, I was asked what time I was expected to leave the next day and said 6:30am, without realising that meant at 6:30 on the dot the housekeeper would be banging on my door to clean the room. They even came back a second time. This woke my son who I was trying to keep asleep until I was ready to leave the room. They I was had vacated the room by 6:45 but check out was 12pm so I don’t understand why I was being pushed out at that time. I mentioned this to the receptionist at checkout but they simply said it was a problem with the two systems they use. However, if you’re asking people what time they will checkout as you want the rooms back sooner, perhaps it’s best to check they have actually checked out before sending up housekeeping."
"Wonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible."
"Really good hotel. Easy to connect to the airport with a bus which drives every 15 mins to the airport. The breakfast was delicious, friendly staff, cozy room. Will definitely book again."
"Great manor-style hotel with large and comfortable rooms. The restaurant and bar taste good. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The parking is convenient and free. Originally, it was a noble manor, with a large private territory and beautiful surroundings."
"Brilliant location, only 5 minutes by bus from/to Gatwick Airport with a bus stop located outside the Guest House. My flight arrived after midnight, but after calling them 24 hours in advance, letting them know they left my room keys in a safe place. Very well informed of how to get there. It's a family run business, and they do care about their customers! Opted in for a continental breakfast, and I was also offered a homemade cake for free!
The place does show its signs of age and will definitely benefit from having a renovation. But otherwise, everything else was fantastic!"
"Employees were nice. Room is good if you have an early flight at gatwick.
Free wifi only in the common area. You only get 30 min of wifi in your room for free. Hair dryers must be requested from the lobby if they have them. Shuttle bus to the airport is 4.5 pounds single, 8 pounds for a return. It runs 24 hours on a schedule."
"It is very easy to find. Few metres away from train station. Really good hotel. Although the staff sometimes you have to wait the other is absolutely brilliant"
"The room is very big and beautiful! The hotel is a bit difficult to find but it is worth staying. The garden is very beautiful and you can eat or drink in the garden. The house is very historical. We lived in another separate house room next to the main building with a small garden."

Good
RRedouane AliOK for a stay close to Gatwick Airport and within minutes walk to Horley Rail Station with connections to London and the airport. The hotel does not operate a 24h desk so late arrivals need to be arranged in advance
GGuest UserSince the flight was canceled, I found a hotel for a short rest! What a surprise after checking in! The waiters are very friendly and the surrounding environment of the hotel is my favorite suburban scenery! The bathroom is very hygienic and the shower and hot water are powerful! The waiter was more attentive in arranging transportation back to the airport! This small hotel can give guests stranded at the airport what they need!
SSonwwuyeFacilities: Fairly complete, no air conditioning, but a fan. Toiletries are provided, but no toothbrush or slippers.
Cleanliness: Good, clean and tidy. Located right on the highway, it can be a bit noisy with traffic passing by late at night. Airport transfers cost £15-20 and arrive in a few minutes.
Kkouki2828From the airport to the hotel, the bus is very convenient, the bus stop is parked at the entrance of the hotel, 2 pounds per person. It is still possible to catch a plane for one night.
Hygiene: One dining: There are no restaurants around, and there is a small supermarket in a gas station. There is a large supermarket about 1 km walk.
