Sofitel London Gatwick

I had a wonderful 3 nights stay in this hotel. Choose this place because of late arrival at Gatwick Airport plus departure from there as well. Easy to go to London central and Brighton via train. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were well provided. Also, the staff was so nice to give me a late check out since my flight has late departure.

Excellent Super Fast Service. Went out of the way to make us feel confortable. Dennis and Arshiya were extra helpful. In the morning the Sam helped us to the terminal entrance as we required wheelchair assistance for my mom.

Picked this hotel as it is very close to Gatwick North Terminal, only 2 minute walk away. I checked in and was first assigned a room, I walk in and it had not been cleaned at all, towels on the floor, bed not made and bottles opened on the table. I went back to reception and they were very nice and apologetic, they kindly told me that they have upgraded my room and apologised for the inconvenience. The new room which I was assigned looked very much like the room I had paid for, not sure what the upgrade was, but at least it was clean this time. In terms of the price, it’s very expensive but what the hotel lacks in cleanliness, it makes up for in location. I’ll probably save my money next time and stay at the Premier Inn across the road.

After a long journey back to the UK, arriving back at 11pm, it was so nice to know we had booked Sofitel Hotel for a comfortable night’s sleep. I’ve stayed there several times and know what a great hotel it is and how close it is to Gatwick North Terminal.

A hotel just next to the Gatwick North Terminal with private passage linking up the airport and hotel. There is a platform at the first floor with reception and restaurants/bar. Although it is just next to the terminal, the room is so quiet that you can have a good sleep! A very good location for transit passengers.

Another lovely stay for 1 night before our holiday. Looking forward to the next.
