Sitting in a great position on the lake the hotel offers comfortable accommodation with many amenities. We stayed just one night but in good summer weather everything is perfect. Walking, swimming, and other activities all on hand. I’m sure the hotel must have its flaws but during our 24 hour stop we didn’t come across any.

The reception was very, very friendly and the treatments (2) were great. The staff were also friendly, but three quarters of the staff didn't understand German very well, which we found unfortunate. When I complained that there was a hair in my starter (last evening), the young lady responded kindly with a nod - and the matter was settled. When I repeated this to one of her colleagues, she received the same reaction - we found that very strange. We had to freeze in our room with an outside temperature of 7°C because the heating was broken (a first for us in a 4* hotel). The food was OK but unfortunately nothing more. The breakfast, however, was very extensive and always very clean and freshly presented - which was great. We probably won't be guests at the Hotel Hopfensee again because we think we can expect more from a 4*.

Beautiful hotel, with a great location right on the lake. However, the hotel has very limited parking spaces, so we had to park on the street and pay every day. The room was quite dated in places, and the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell. The breakfast was excellent! A generous buffet and a great dining area with a view of the lake. However, the portions in the evening (4-course menu) were very small, and we weren't really full afterward. Otherwise, we can recommend the hotel.

Wir haben drei Tage mit Frühstück und Candlelight-Diner über #SecretEscape gebucht. Es wurde der Schein eines Top-4*-Wellnesshotels erweckt. Die Ankunft war frustierend. Ich durfte mit meiner Tochter einige wunderbare Tage im Hotel am Hopfensee verbringen und bin absolut begeistert. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir vom äußerst höflichen und zuvorkommenden Service herzlich empfangen – eine Gastfreundschaft, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach traumhaft: direkt am See, mit einem spektakulären Blick auf den Hopfensee und die umliegenden Berge. Unser Zimmer mit Seeblick war geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bot einen Ausblick, der jeden Morgen für pure Begeisterung sorgte. Ein weiteres Highlight war der moderne Spa-Bereich, der perfekt ausgestattet ist und uns nach unseren Ausflügen die Möglichkeit gab, vollkommen zu entspannen. Die Nähe zu den vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Region ist ein großer Pluspunkt. Vom Hotel aus waren wir in kürzester Zeit bei den Königsschlössern, in Füssen und in den wunderschönen Wandergebieten. Es ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungstouren. Ein Ort, der Erholung, Luxus und Natur auf einzigartige Weise verbindet. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt!

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit unserem Hund, das Abendessen war sehr gut jedoch das Frühstück war Ok kenne ich aber auch besser. Die Zimmer und der Ausblick waren Top auch der Service war super. Es war überall Sauber und alle sehr bemüht. Pool und Saunen waren sehr entspannend und schön gestaltet. Die Lage ist natürlich auch sehr zu empfehlen wir kommen gerne wieder.
