This hotel is rubbish, like a brutal gang in a movie. I kept banging on the door in my underwear. They told me that I had to check out at 11 o'clock. I said that they didn't tell me to check out at 11 o'clock when I checked in, and asked me to give them 30 minutes to pack my luggage. They told me in a very bad tone that they only had 5 minutes to pack their luggage and leave. I was ten minutes late, and they asked a gardener to kick me out. Oh my god, this is the first time I've stayed in a hotel like this.

Ideally located for walking in the Peak District, surrounded by amazing scenery. Service was exceptional. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. Enjoyed the spa facilities, but perhaps a little small. Only negative was that the adjacent rooms shower was very loud and the mattress in our room was raised in the middle.

Third visit to Losehill and another wonderful stay. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was unpleasant smell intermittently wafting through windows. ?The septic tank.

Fabulous hotel, fantastic chefs, super staff who will do anything for you without hesitation. We cannot fault anything or anyone at this hotel. The standard is just right and we would definitely recommend to any one. Although we cannot walk roo far it is obviously a good centre for walking

We had a family birthday celebration weekend at Losehill House. All of our rooms were excellent and fitted our needs exactly. The service throughout the stay was excellent. The meals were superb. The restaurant was very accomodating for our 7 year old granddaughter, providing things not on the menu. We had a very enjoyable time
