Great service from this hotel, no complaints about any aspect of our stay. However, let's start with small bad observations.... 1. One lady waiting staff member with short grey hair did something that caused concern... she reset the table with cutlery from a place setting that was used. a spoon was not used at the setting and she just added a knife and fork. It's not ideal that the person sitting there touched the napkin and spoon so it should have been replaced. 2. the open plan aspect of the dining room to the reception is somewhat off-putting, maybe partitions while food is being eaten, otherwise customers will feel a little exposed. Now for the best bit... Keiren, the lovely morning gent whom we encountered, was always professional and approachable, never skipped a beat when asking about allergies, and always asked us if there was anything we needed help with. A credit to the hotel. a quick chat was never any bother, what stood out to us on our last day was Keiren was interacting with a gent who was in a wheelchair, and appeared to have some difficulties, his person-centered approach to the chap was outstanding. I am a carer in my chosen career, it made my heart happy to see Keiren act perfectly. Hats off to this young man.
