Hotels near Chung Yee Street Garden in Hong Kong

It was very cold at night as it is central air-conditioning. You cannot shut down the air-conditioning as the room control cannot turn it off. The only way is to ask for an additional blanket. The room service is not clearly indicated on the telephone set, even the woman on the front desk at night services couldn't tell the room guests how to operate, she just asked the guests to follow instructions at room but actually there is none of the guide found. Only the front desk on day services can tell to dial '0' to call room service. It was ridiculous! The so called family room is only adding one narrow bed slided out from another bed on the top when it is needed at night.

excellent service provided during check-in. I would like to thank the gentleman at the front desk, Mr Andrew, if I'm not mistaken with the name, who was so kind to accommodate my request. The hotel is in an excellent location. Not only because is next to a metro 🚇 station where 2 lines merge. Further, in less than 15 minutes walking distance, you're in a lively neighborhood due to the vicinity of a University campus. Many catering options can easily be found along with different supermarket options.

Will not stay here again. Whilst, the hotel itself would be okay for a nights crash - I had an awful experience. On my floor, there were several people throughout the night who were gathering in the hallway and arguing, talking/shouting and slamming doors. The walls are so thin you can hear every movement. I didn’t sleep at all because of the noise.

A classy but old hotel and it shows. They do maintain it well though. It's very tight as especially if you might have a bigger waistline the bathroom won't accommodate you. Everything is extra and there's a price list for it. No bottled water is offered and only one tea and coffee even if you are two people. You both can't have coffee. The restaurant is very small and a booking before hand might be required, although the quality of the meals are good and a bit pricey. There's an incremental deposit fee the longer you stay going to over 2000. The surrounding location isn't very desirable.

The hotel is really accessible and just a 2 mins walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR so we got there really easily and quickly. As we had a baggage delay from our airline we told the staff (Hugo) to look out for it but he actually went the extra mile to call up our airline and check the status of the baggage. Hotel was very prompt and attentive to this matter and also informed us once the baggage reached the hotel, huge thanks to Hugo! The room was spacious enough (for HK standard), cosy for us (couple) and bathroom was also spacious enough for 2 of us to use it as the same time. We stayed 5 nights and returned to the room all cleaned and neat daily! The staff were all very friendly and attentive as the room was clean, spacious and well equipped. There are a bunch of shops right outside the hotel like 7-11 convenience store, cha chaan teng etc. I even managed to get a roll of film as there was a camera shop right at the hotel doorstep! The hotel is located in an area whereby it’s extremely convenient and central yet not right smack in the hustle bustle so returning to the hotel every night was easy and peaceful. It felt like a very safe area too! I highly recommend anyone to book this hotel with ease. I will definitely stay here again if I were to return to HK!

However, the washbasin design is notably inconvenient due to its unusually low height. While this might cater to the needs of handicapped guests, it can be cumbersome for others to use. 3. Carpet Cleanliness: A significant downside is the condition of the carpets. They are noticeably dirty and suffer from widespread mold, detracting from the overall cleanliness and ambiance of the rooms. This is an area that urgently requires attention and improvement from the hotel management. 4. Location and Local Amenities: The hotel's location is a major plus. Situated just a few minutes from the Yao Ma Tei MTR station, it offers convenient access to public transportation. Additionally, the area is bustling with a variety of local food options, allowing guests to easily indulge in the rich culinary culture of Hong Kong. Overall, considering the balance between cost, convenience, and comfort, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

My wife and I really loved the stay at EATON, the location was really convenient, so many transit options and good access on foot to the neighbourhood around Mongkok and Temple st. The room was really cosy and everything was well thought out. Loved the atmosphere of the food hall too, it is a bonus to have such great quality of food stalls right at the hotel before heading out to explore in the afternoon. Definitely make the effort to take the star ferry to enjoy the harbour views too. Highly recommend the Eaton and will definitely return next time heading back into HK. Thank you to all the staff for such great hospitality.

Great hotel! Situated close to the MTR, making it easy to access other centrally located locations around Hong Kong.

Good and clean hotel. Alitle bit far from MTR but a hotel arrange shuttle bus that is great organised if I can recommend I want Hotel to arrange bus service more for peak time if you cannot get into the bus because a bus is full that mean you need to wait 1 more hour for the next round. And we love hotel Amenities so much.

The location is quite convenient, it is near the Yau Ma Tei MTR,it is just about 5 to 10 minutes walk, and it's also near the Temple Street night market. It's just a 5 minute walk to Macdonald and ParknShop supermarket, the overall situation is good😊
