This is my second time staying here. I always like the cute and warm hospitality when checking in. The place is very clean and the price/performance ratio is super high. Yau Ma Tei is simply the inner ring of the inner ring of HK. I didn't fall in love with HK before in Hong Kong Island, but I fell in love with it in Yau Ma Tei. There is a Christmas card in the room card. I am really touched by the attentiveness of the Salvation Army T T

The place is comparatively spacious than most Hong Kong hostels. The place is clean and well-maintained. They have a digital door lock for security. They do housekeeping every day, cleaning the room, setting up the beds, and providing change of towels and toilet paper. Location-wise, they are also very near TST station, restaurants, and grocery stores, which is very convenient. I would highly recommend this place!

This is the definition of a budget room in Hong Kong: very, very, VERY small, the shower is above the toilets, and the bed can feel a bit small if you're 1.80 meter tall or above. The guesthouse is located on the 7th floor of the notorious yet fascinating Chungking Mansion Building (If you haven't heard about it, Google it). Having said that, the employees were extremely kind and helpful, and offered an even better price when we asked in person to extend for 2 extra nights.

JST Hotel - King’s Mansion --Aesthetic of New-School Lodging in the Oasis of the Metropolis Location Advantage - Tranquility in the City Centre Located at 21-23 Nam Cheong Street, Shamshuipo, Kowloon, JST Hotel is adjacent to Nam Cheong’s four major railway hubs, Shamshuipo, Prince Edward and Olympic. It is also within walking distance of Fuk Wing Street, where Hong Kong-style cafes abound, Apliu Street, where neon signs are intertwined, and the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, which forms a humanistic living circle. Enjoying the MTR network’s convenience and the city’s tranquillity, it is an ideal place for business travellers and hermits. Room Space - Elegant Residence The 16-20 square meters of light luxury suites subvert the traditional hotel layout by adopting the design concept of “theatre of life”: in addition to the 1.5-metre wide luxury bed, there is also a custom-made through-the-ceiling storage system with hidden secrets and the Scandinavian minimalist desk and the industrial style sofa are a perfect match for each other. In addition, the specially planned mini cooking area is equipped with an embedded refrigerator. The wet and dry separated bathroom space adopts nano anti-bacterial stone, complemented by a rainforest shower system so that business travellers can also interpret the warmth of the home. Intelligent Supporting Facilities - Enjoyable Life Each guest room is implanted with the “intelligent living” ecosystem: intelligent mirror TV, high-speed WiFi network coverage, and composite washing and drying machines to meet the needs of long-term residents. Shared Space - Social Aesthetics Breaking through the boundaries of traditional hotel functions, the hotel has created three special social areas: 1. Time Station Lobby: A freshly ground coffee workshop with an ice cream counter, complemented by the charred aroma of a vintage popcorn cart, weaves a time-travelling rest scene. 2. Starry Sky Terrace Barbecue Garden: Complete with a BBQ and outdoor lounge table and chairs, this garden is perfect for hosting a rooftop party for 20 people under the night sky. Designed with the philosophy of “urban seclusion” in mind, Seiko International Hotel perfectly balances the city’s smoke and fire and quiet poetry in the Sham Shui Po district, representing the “humanistic Hong Kong”. Whether you are a student pursuing studies, a creative traveller in search of inspiration or an urban elite longing for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can find an exclusive third space here to write your chapter on Hong Kong Island in the depths of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Hotel accommodation experience: clean and comfortable, cost-effective choice! This trip to Hong Kong chose this hotel, which was really a very satisfying experience! First of all, the hotel environment is very clean and tidy, the room is spotlessly clean, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, which makes people feel at ease. The bathroom is also separated into dry and wet areas, with complete facilities, sufficient hot water, and good quality toiletries. Secondly, the location of the hotel is very convenient. It only takes 7 minutes to walk from the subway station. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores around, which makes life very convenient. What surprised me most was that the hotel’s cost-effectiveness is really high! It is really rare to live in such a clean and comfortable hotel at this price in this area. And the hotel’s service is also very considerate. The front desk boss is warm and friendly, and he also carefully prepared a conversion connector for us, which solved our urgent needs. In short, this time I had a very pleasant experience staying at Jingjin Hotel, and I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Hong Kong for tourism!

The room is located along Nathan Road. Near to MTR Mongkok Station and bus stops. The hostel is inside a commercial building and located in 11th floor. Safe because the building is well-lit and no queue on the elevator. The hostel is also safe, there is a security lock not only in your room but at the entrance of the hostel so only guests and staff are allowed to enter. The room is very clean and complete with all the basic things you 'll need like very cold aircon, hot and cold shower, toiletries, slippers, kettle with cups and built-in electric sockets (no need to buy adaptor). They also allow you you to leave your luggages after your check out time for free. Thanks Mongkok Hostel.

ZZi JingI was in HK for the first time and split my stay into 2 nights in Kowloon, 1 night in Macau, and then 3 nights on HK island. Honestly, this hotel impressed me the most. Let’s get the bad points out of the way first. This hotel is a small hotel on a building that leases their floors/units/spaces to other businesses, including this hotel and other hotels within the building. There are 3 elevators, 2 of them for passengers, whereby one serves odd numbered floors and the other serves even number floors. The last elevator is for freight when required that serves all floors. This means that sometimes you have to wait an absolutely long time to get back to your room. However, I also visited Chungking Mansion (another similar hotel building), and there it was so much worse so it’s not too bad here. Now to the good points, and there are a lot. The hotel room was actually kind of spacious. It’s not huge, but the area was a square, so you have more than enough room to open a suitcase or do a home workout (I did). The toilet was also spacious. There’s a space for showering, a toilet, and a sink, and you wouldn’t feel like you are squeezed for space. The location of this hotel is also a huge boon. It’s literally the building just beside the metro exit so it is super convenient. You are also on TST MTR station, which means it is super convenient to go anywhere, including crossing to HK island either by MTR or ferry. There is a freaking good Michelin featured shengjian bao shop just downstairs of the hotel, and it was so delicious I ate there so many times I didn’t even have time to try the other delicious looking cafes and restaurants. Service was also pretty good. It’s a pretty mainland China styled hotel. Communication is done through WeChat, with a very friendly and helpful staff who answers promptly. Bed was also very comfortable honestly. For this price, I wish I only stayed at this hotel my entire trip.

MMarcelo Alexis Norambuena SepulvedaThe hostel stands out for its extraordinary location in Mong Kok, Argyle Street, which quickly connects you to any point in the special territory of Hong Kong. The staff is attentive and maintains a friendly manner at all times, also highlighting the security of the place. Now, regarding the facilities, I can say that they are kept clean and have just the right amount for a traveler looking to save money. The hostel shares the same level as other hotels with similar characteristics. The building is old and somewhat neglected, next to impressive glass and neon towers, something typical to find in HK. It may give a more demanding traveler a bad impression, but it is something very common to find in HK for the prices we are talking about. Finding something nicer will cost you 3 times more, it is HK and space is a valuable resource that can be traded on the rise. The rooms are located in adapted apartments that allow for multiple rooms inside, which are very small and without windows. They have air conditioning and a fan, which helps to temper the temperature compared to the outside. The bathroom is shared with access to soap, shampoo and towels, and there is a shower that wets the entire bathroom (there is no separate shower from the toilet, something that is common in HK due to the exorbitant cost of square meters built). As a final assessment, I found it to be a good place for the price, safe and with staff always available. I recommend it to anyone who wants to save money on their stay in this magnificent city.

Room is confined and small, but that is expected in this area also with this budget. I am happy that I received good value.

GGuest UserI want to try and be balanced. I hate to give this place too much hate. I feel like they’re doing the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt and the price reflects that. This being my first time to Hong Kong, I was not aware of what to expect price wise. That said, I want people to who read this to have more reasonable expectations than what the 4-5 star ratings want you to have. Location. I suppose it’s in a good location of the city but it’s in an apartment above a market like setup. As i walked into the building i was immediately pounced upon by individual after individual who seemed to be trying to rent me their own rooms. I had to just ignore them and keep walking. I don’t like being rude, but I’ve found this is the easiest way to escape. I never feel safe in situations like this especially late at night. The room was small and generally clean. I’ve left hotels in the past that were just horrid, this isn’t one of those. The mattress was comfortable but the bed was short. I feel the pillows and blankets were “clean “. But they were clean to the standards that I wash my own bedding. They were very white, but with some obvious stains that haven’t quite washed out, and one pillow appeared to have something like a blood stain visible through the pillow case. You will want to bring some sort of sleeping bag or liner. I was happy i had one. The bathroom had no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, bidet/paper. The toilet bowl was black inside and immediately began to smell of sewer gas as i was urinating. It leaked when i flushed it. Gave me quite a start. The stench stayed around for 10-20 minutes or so. After that i didn’t want to do anything else in the bathroom. I used a bottle of water to brush my teeth. I don’t know. If you’re looking at the outside of the building during the day, it’s what you’d expect. If you’re familiar with the cost of living in Hong Kong, it’s probably also what you’d expect at this price. If you just want a relatively clean place to sleep, and don’t want to spend a lot for hotels that reviewers say have the same issues, this will work. Just make sure you have your sleeping bag liner. For this price, I’d probably stay there again if they fixed the plumbing.

GGuest UserIt was originally another hotel that was booked in advance, but when we arrived at the hotel, we said that we didn't have our order. We were temporarily charged, so we temporarily rebooked this hotel. Hong Kong is a land of gold, not to mention being in this position, and going downstairs to the left is Sogo Department Store and Victoria Harbour. The room was small. I went there in April. There was no quilt in the hotel. There was only one bed sheet, because it would be off for two nights in the city. It is really not recommended to bring children. With children can choose a little away from the city, a better hotel. In the next few days, we stayed at a hotel next to the sea, it was great, you can watch the sea in bed, and you can go down to the beach
