Hong Kong Kwun Tong District Hotels

Loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Traveled with my husband and a toddler. Location is less touristy so it's not overcrowded and more relaxed. We were here to travel to Disneyland (around 32 minutes by train). There's a good mall right beside the hotel called APM, there's also a mall/community center/bus station called Yue Man Square. There's a water dispenser on every floor, canned water is provided daily. Shower is good, the Tresemme hair and body products are a good touch too (didn't try our skin). Bed is too hard for me, but husband and child slept well. Breakfast is good but repetitive. In short, everything you'll need is here. If you're not after shopping destinations, this would be a good hotel to stay in. Would definitely consider when visiting HK.

a very decent hotel, just the beds are too small and short! But excellent service and conveniently located. You can take a direct bus from the airport. In general, well connected either by bus or metro. Unfortunately the windows are locked and can't be opened!

1. The location is far from the city but it close to MTR so you could save more budget from expensive hotel in city. 2. You can experience the real local area especially food, and good store. 3. There are several convenience store , mall, and yes 7-Eleven plus circle K there. 8. Breakfast is great

Location of the hotel is close to the Ngau tau kok mtr station , only have to go up and down the stairs, no escalator or lift, difficult in carrying heavy things . In industrial area , night time dark , nothing there . there’s one fruit seller selling fruit with very good prices , from hotel exit to left , nearby Mc Donald. One station further kwun tong MTR station a lot of activities, though nothing busy compared to Tsim Sha tsui or Causeway Bay .

Noise from the other room at 4am - very loud and disturbing- unable to sleep. Complained to the receptionist, they did come up to see and then called the room. They were quiet for a few min and then continued even louder.  Our complaints made no difference whatsoever and therefore we checked out right away! The noise was really unbearable.  Although the staff was helpful but did not resolve the issue could’ve given us another room but no, there’s no other room.  I understand the building was converted from a commercial property into a hotel, but the room walls are too thin.  The feel and the vibe of the hotel is amazing, but again unfortunate that it was too noisy

The location is nice, and our room was good for 2 adults and 1 child under 10. The staff has been accommodating and helpful. They charged a deposit of HKD 1000 or RMB 1000. The service was decent and delivered on par. Hotel amenities were provided on a calculated sum. Do not expect too much from this place, as it is not a premium hotel. As tourists, we felt it was sufficient to rest at night and carry on with our activities during the day. My overall rating would be 6/10 or 7/10 if I were in a good mood.

Good location, very close to Mongkok station. The room is not big. Booked for 3 people, got 3 single beds. The entrance is a bit narrow for carrying luggage. Have to walk up the stairs and take the lift to the 4th floor to check in. The accommodation is on the 5th floor. The room is reasonably clean. The bathroom is not big according to the size of the room, but there is a separate toilet and shower area. Looks new. No breakfast, but near the market. Can walk to eat congee comfortably. The staff may mostly speak Chinese, but the service is good. There is only one officer. Went at the end of December.

A very small room is suitable for spending the night, it is clean and good, but it was very difficult to find the entrance

The location is very convenient, right next to Mongkok MTR station
