AVOID THIS HOTEL!! Worst service I’ve ever experienced! And I’ve been staying in hotels all over Asia consistently for the past year! When we tried to check in, they said it was policy to have my middle name as part of the booking too, so I had to call Trip.Com before we could check in!! As a foreigner without a HK / Chinese Phone #, it’s a ridiculous ask. Been using trip.com EVERYWHERE for the past 3 months and NEVER had this problem.. I understand company policy, but this one is so unnecessary. When we brought up this ridiculous policy, the receptionist told us we can just leave a bad review. Like they don’t care about their reviews and customers at all! The day we checked out, the toilets in the hotel all couldn’t flush, and their engineer was off.. good thing we were checking out because all the p00ps probably accumulated all day/night in everyone’s toilets.. While we were waiting for Trip.com’s replies, we also heard them complaining about other guests! I think they thought we couldn’t understand Cantonese but I knew exactly what they were saying. The room itself is OK for HK standards, water pressure and toilet was bad and there were bugs. Also need a $500 HKD deposit even when we prepaid online. I think this hotel just doesn’t care about it’s customers. There are better hotels around Causeway Bay for the same price!!
