I booked this hotel for a layover stay in Tsim Sha Tsui, and overall, it was very clean, well-maintained, and a great value for money — especially for central Hong Kong. That said, a few honest notes:
If you're a big guy, be prepared: everything is small — the towels, the bathroom, the room itself. It’s very compact, typical of budget stays in HK.
When I arrived, my flight from Shanghai was delayed, and I was frustrated to find no one at the reception. I had to wait 10–15 minutes for the staff to show up and then another few minutes to be taken to the room.
This place works more like an Airbnb or serviced apartment. The building is full of different guesthouses and hotels, all operating independently on different floors.
I expected someone to be tracking online bookings or emails, especially since check-in is supposedly available until 5:30 AM. That part was poorly handled.
That said, the owner was kind. Since the room I booked was full, he gave me a bigger room at no extra cost, and even offered late check-out, which I declined.
The location is excellent — perfect if you want to explore Hong Kong on a short layover or be close to the MTR, shopping, and food options.
If your goal is just sleep, and you're heading out the next day, consider staying near the airport. But if you want to explore Kowloon/HK Island, this location is perfect.
Despite the check-in delay, I still give it 5 stars because of the cleanliness, location, and overall value.
