Pioneer Hostel

First time to stay here both goood and negative from my view. Negative is can not be checked in at 2 p.m. to wait until 3.00 p.m On the day of check out, They a little bit rush before time.. Some noises after midnight from the roof that can cause you unsleep. Positive is location.

Location: "The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and public transportation." Value for money: "The price was reasonable for the quality of the hostel Overall Experience: we like to stay maybe next year again together with friends

+ location + cleanliness + comfortable mattresses - guests smoking in the guesthouse. - poor WiFi connection

The room is comfy and we slept well because of the quiet surroundings. It was clean when we arrived. The price is worthy for couple who will just use the room at night to shower and sleep.

Worst accommodation experience in Hong Kong. It was not clear where the reception area was. I visited four floors until a woman finally told me a location to visit on the 6th floor which I understood to be the reception. A woman acknowledged my arrival, then went inside to talk to someone, then returned to close the door on my face. The man at the desk on the ground floor contacted them only to be told no rooms are available (the last thing you want to be told) finally a manager came later to take me to my room, then had the audacity to make it out to be my fault for not calling him on his phone number directly from my phone, and when I went to complain saying he is THE ONE who should be complaining because I didn't provide a reservation number up front! The photo and representation of the hostel on trip.com are not consistent with what they are like. This is anti-hospitality!

If you just simply want a simple short stay, the location of the hotel is fine. But do not expect to receive any service from the hotel. I reached the hotel late and call to ask the hotel to help to let my husband to check in first, however the request was being rejected. Also trip.com support is bad and have to wait for hours and to contact them multiple times to get their resolution.
