Stayed for 3 nights. Room was tidy although the daily cleaning service didn’t clean the whole room, just the toilet area. Location was a bit far from the MTR stations but convenient if you are coming straight from the airport.
Overall good for a solo traveller.

Great hotel, very modern and clean. People were super friendly. Great location if you are going to the horse racing.

the shuttle between Shatin and the hotel takes more than 20 min which is too long for this route.

Very happy to be able to stay at the Alva Hotel, the hotel facilities are very complete, the lobby is large and the cleanliness is excellent! Apart from that, the staff are very friendly and very helpful. and most importantly for tourists, it is very easy to reach because in front of the hotel there is a bus stop and it is also close to the MTR station. If I have the opportunity to return to Hong Kong, I will definitely stay again at the Alva Hotel❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our second time staying at the Alva. Staff was very accommodating, we had a delayed flight and they allowed us to pay 330 HKD to stay an extra 3 hours.

The hotel is very clean and very new, rooms are bigger than expected, we could rent some bikes to cycle around. It is not exactly the best location though, they have shuttle bus to offer but you have to work around the time

The room is clean and tidy. Staff are nice and helpful, they are patient to introduce their free bike service that helmets were provided (free!) My family enjoyed cycling the whole afternoon. The buffet is nice as well, plently of food options with a 50% discount px for stay-in guest.
The only cons is the toilet is not smelling well.

Very nice hotel. Good service and very clean. Location problem can be solved by using the nearby subway station.

Location not far from MTR(Train station), it takes 10-15 mins by walk and easy to find.
Early check-in is expected on the booking remarks, it still takes 1.5 hour waiting for the room to be ready in weekday, it is unexpected situation ＞o＜.
50% discount for buffet is a good deal and must try, lots of variety of food, unlimited lobsters, oysters, sushi, salmon, desserts and ice-cream, all are yum yum...
Room is clean and TV got lots of channels, HBO, Animax, some sports and local HK channels.
Overall, value for money.

Stayed at one of the twin apartment rooms and the room is incredibly spacious! The room includes a personal washer+dryer inside the room, so doing laundry is incredibly easy. The staff speak fluent English and are easy to approach for any and all questions. The hotel is further in Kowloon side of Hong Kong, but close to MTR Shek Mun station. They also offer complimentary shuttle bus service to multiple places in Hong Kong. I recommend eating the breakfast buffet, the selection is plentiful. I would definitely come stay again!
