Panda Hotel

Panda Hotel is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked a room for four days and was given the worst room imaginable. The room was extremely small, lacked hygiene, had mold in the air conditioning unit, and worst of all, bed bugs. It felt like the room had never been renovated since 1991 and was very old and run down. This was on the 24th floor during a midnight check-in, which was a total disappointment. We could barely sleep.After complaining, the hotel moved us to a room on the 23rd floor, called Panda Plus. This room was much better—more spacious, clean, and with a proper bathroom. Had we not complained, we would have been stuck in the dirty room, which was unacceptable.On the positive side, the breakfast was very good with many options and convenient timing from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. However, the hotel's location is not ideal for sightseeing since there is no tram track nearby, unlike our previous stay at the Ibis Hotel, which had tram tracks right at the entrance, offering nice views and convenience for tourists.Overall, the initial experience was quite disappointing, but after moving rooms it became an okay stay. The Panda Hotel is not recommended unless you are prepared for potential issues with room quality.

First time traveling with toddlers and this is not far from the airport which was a ~20 minute taxi ride. The buffet breakfast has a great selection of both veggie and meat options. Kids under 5 eat for free. Close to 2 MTR stations and convenient with strollers. The hotel concierge arranged our luggage to be moved free of charge and booked our taxi for our return flight back to the airport. Friendly staff and many places to eat and shop. They also offer free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. I would highly recommend this hotel and will book again for our next visit to Hong Kong.

Location is good and convenient: not far from the metro station and there are lots of restaurants near the hotel. Around 40 minutes to Disneyland. Rooms are spacious for Hong Kong. Beds are pretty small and short though, mattress and pillows weren't comfortable, sound isolation was bad too: we could hear some conversation and giggles from the neighbors at night, so the sleep quality was poor at Panda. Soap and shampoo dispensers are terrible to use!!! But the worst part is the housekeeping that rings the bell on your door at 8 a.m offering to clean up the room consistently. Please, don't repeat our mistake and press "don't disturb" button at the door or you will be disturbed for sure... Receptionists were very polite and nice though and the room felt clean.
