Dorset is serious on sustainability 👍👍👍. They have refillable bottles in each room and give you free HKD 20 credit if you avoid room cleaning for 2 nights. Toiletries are available from their vending machine for HKD1 each. The hotel was packed due to ongoing national games and full of westerners. It is a bit old and need to wait for the lift if you are on the lower Floors. Their breakfast team is super efficient in seating you and greet you warmly. 15 minutes walking from wanchai station and opposite the jockey club. The location is convenient if you have work in central or wanchai area. The rooms are smaller and the bathroom is poorly designed as the shower door opens in an inconvenient way. Luckily they had the converter plug in the room.

It was a pleasant stay at the hotel - just that the drop off/pick up areas could be better on the ride hailing apps.

One note about check-in: You can do self check-in. After booking, you will receive an email (maybe not immediately, but sometime before your check-in date) with a booking number. You need to type this number at a kiosk in the hotel reception. You can then print your own key cards and take them to your room. Pros: The staff are welcoming and the rooms are clean. The hotel is environmentally friendly: in the room, they provide a reusable glass bottle, and there is a dispenser in the hallway for refilling it. They do not provide vanity kits in the room, but you can buy one at the reception for one Hong Kong dollar. They offer a shuttle bus to Causeway Bay, which is great for shopping and eating. The bus schedule is convenient, with departures every half an hour or so, and the ride takes only about eight minutes. The hotel rooms have a nice view, although some people might not like that it overlooks a cemetery. Personally, I thought it looked magnificent. Public transportation (only buses and trams, no MTR) is excellent and easy to use for getting to beaches like Stanley Beach and Repulse Bay Beach. There is a Blue House, a historical landmark, only five minutes away from the hotel. There is also a Sikh temple right next to the hotel which can be quite interesting. Cons: There are no restaurants or convenience stores close to the hotel. The closest places are in Causeway Bay or Wan Chai. It takes about ten-fifteen minutes to walk to Wan Chai.

stay was pleasant. cleanliness could be better. upkeep of room/toilet facilities could be better as well. no provision of toiletries but could buy from vending machine that gets stuck so often. security would help you out though. breakfast was soso. bed was comfortable but pillow was flat. used the self washing machine and dryer. 👍 free hotel shuttle.

Nice and comfortable stay. Good accessibility with trams to get you to the MTR, or just the busses will do. There are also shuttle van services to a couple of places 😄 Lobby staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall was a great stay for those who would like to explore south HK 🥰
