The Cityview - Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

I recently spent three nights at the Cityview hotel, with a day trip to Shenzhen in the middle. My first two nights were in a Deluxe Double room, which was compact but adequate for a solo traveler like me who spends little time in the hotel. I believe it would also suit a couple. A highlight was the luggage storage service; the staff handled my bags safely and efficiently. For my third night, I was upgraded to a Premier Twin room due to availability, and the difference was remarkable. The room was significantly larger, featured a bathtub, and had a much more spacious bathroom. The hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to the Yau Ma Tei MTR station(walking lesser than 500 steps i think) which is just one stop from Mong Kok. If you prefer to walk, it's only about 10 minutes to Mong Kok. I was very satisfied with the location and the service. An 8.9 rating seems underrated, so I'm giving a full 5 stars! (The pic shows the deluxe double room)

This hotel offers exceptional value and service. Aside from having a good location, the rooms are spacious compared to normal hotel rooms in this area. Also offers free unlimited purified water.

Though the room is small but the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Furthermore the airport is very near to them too.

Clean and spacious room with sufficient space to open up 2 luggages. Bathroom had hairdryer and bathtub and refillable bath soap. Disposable amenities have to be purchased separately as in most hotels in HK. Location less than 5min walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR, nice area with convenience store and some eateries nearby.

The location is perfect. For some reason, they don't have automatic entrance doors, but sometimes a staff member can open them for u. Staff is friendly, a room is clean on the whole, although there were stains on the carpet. All in all it's a good hotel, especially if u book it with a discount.

Cleanliness is superb, they do everyday cleaning of the room, the cleaner are still the one who remind that they need to clean the room, unless you say no need for that day. The location is very convenient, just 2 minutes away from Yau Ma Tei MTR, near convenient stores and food shops I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family when they visit Hongkong.
