Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong

First off, the location is unbeatable – I specifically chose it, and it was easy to find. Getting around by bus and subway is quite convenient. Secondly, the room is small. I know everyone says that, and for the price, you can't expect much space. But I'm used to bigger rooms for the same price on the mainland, so it was a bit of an adjustment. Thirdly, cleanliness. The bed was clean enough, but the bathroom wasn't. There was a long strand of women's hair next to the toilet, even though we were two men! The main issue with the bathroom is that you have to shower *in* the bathtub. It's a pointless tub, really. Even with the curtain closed, water still splashes out onto the bathroom floor. There's no proper drainage slope, so the water just sits there. In the morning, the floor was covered in all the water from the last shower. Fourth, and most importantly, I've noticed that Hong Kong hotels often have an unopenable connecting door between rooms. This leads to terrible soundproofing! You can hear everything your neighbors say and do crystal clear. If you're a light sleeper, you absolutely need to clarify this when booking. Fifth, and the absolute worst, is the WiFi. It's truly awful. I think the entire building shares one WiFi network. At the hotel I stayed at yesterday, each floor and room had its own corresponding WiFi, and it was super smooth. Here, there's just one WiFi name and one password for all 20 floors. You can imagine how bad that is. It's terrible, truly stingy that they'd skimp on this. Because of this, I won't be staying here again and won't recommend it to anyone. As for service, I called the front desk about the noisy neighbors and bad WiFi, and their attitude was extremely perfunctory. I explained my issues, and they completely ignored me, just saying "Have a nice day, bye!" and hanging up. LOL, it was ridiculous.

Super convenient! It's right opposite Victoria Park, and the MTR and bus stops are close by. There are tons of places to eat within a five-minute walk, I highly recommend the durian at 'Durian House'. The only downside was that one of the three elevators was out of order during our stay, which made waiting for the lift a bit long.

The room was generally clean and tidy, and for Hong Kong, it wasn't cramped. The hygiene was also quite good, and the view outside the window was nice. The staff were friendly too.

The location is excellent, it's very clean, and the room facilities are well-maintained, making it a great choice for travelers. Compared to other overpriced hotels, it offers good value for money. Definitely consider staying here, but it's best to avoid [this place] if you don't like constant noise/crowds/issues (the original text ended abruptly, so I added a common interpretation).

Staying in a city view twin room at the Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong was an excellent experience. The room was clean and dry, and the two beds were just the right firmness, ensuring a very restful sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view, perfect for admiring the cityscape of Causeway Bay, and the window seat was a practical touch. The bathroom had good water pressure and a bathtub, and all daily amenities were provided. The free Wi-Fi was stable. The hotel is located in the heart of Causeway Bay, within walking distance of the MTR station and major shopping malls. The staff were polite and attentive, and the daily housekeeping was meticulous. Overall, it offers great value for money for accommodation and getting around. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Service: The front desk service was polite and attentive, especially F/O receptionist Coco, who greeted me with a smile and processed my check-in incredibly fast. She even upgraded my room without me asking, which I only found out when I received the room card. It was a pleasant surprise! I've stayed at this hotel countless times, and they really make their loyal customers feel valued. Superb! Superb!

Typical Hong Kong hotel layout. The twin room wasn't too cramped for two people. Breakfast was pretty standard, better than nothing. Transportation was decent, with a tram stop right outside. Free luggage storage was available on the first floor.
